A place to sleep, that is it.

Pros: Location is great as it is near the mall, coffee shops and quick trip to nearby restaurants. The rooms and pool were clean the their possibly maximum capabilities.

Cons: The hotel severely needs a renovation. From hotel lobby interiors to the hotel rooms, this will not even pass as a 3 star hotel by international standards. The lobby and rooms reeked of mold smell which is actually a health hazard. I think Richmond is lucky not to have too many competitions around the area and probably have owners who do not care as much - otherwise this hotel will not be generating money. Renovation is severely required and retrain the staff to ensure international standards are applied and maintained. A hotel like this in a very mature location somewhere else in Philippines or Thailand, etc will be ranked at the bottom half. The housekeeping team is great though but they can only do so much and the main limitation is really the old infastructures.

Pros: I like that Richmond Hotel is not super big unlike other hotel chain, clean, a block away from the mega mall, nice staff.

Cons: I was not too crazy that the access card for the elevator di not work most of the time. I also did not like that there is no dedicated room/ venue for parties because you could hear it in the lobby.

Cons: Cleanliness is very poor. There are roaches in the room. The pillows are uncomfortable causing difficulties in sleeping. Bedsheets do not look clean. Breakfast are terrible. Not much selection of food. Food are the same (no changes) daily. Cleanliness not very good as spotted roaches in the drinks.

Pros: Beds were super comfy. Amazing and courteous staff! They resolved my "issues" in a heart beat :-)

Cons: I found our room a bit dated. The ceiling was low and the toilet bowl seemed like it will clog anytime. It was also unfortunate that there was no iron in our room.
