Excellent resort experience - and great value!

Pros: The resort was very pleasant and the staff was excellent - definitely a good value for what we got. Although some parts of the property seemed a bit worn down, overall it was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and our room was quite spacious and comfortable (the in-room jacuzzi was a real treat!). The front desk staff was excellent - easy, efficient, and quick check-in - and the dining/dinner staff (especially Ludmilla, our waitress) were all superb. The location was also close enough to get to the National Park and airport in 20-25 minutes. Overall, we were very happy at this resort and would recommend it.

Cons: Some parts of the property were a bit run down or seemed a bit old, but otherwise no complaints!

Pros: The beds. Top 5% beds ever. The general staff. The recreation staff.. even though it was mainly for kids, and in Portuguese which we don't really speak, so we didn't participate, you could see how good they were.

Cons: The shower temperature varied A LOT making it a bit difficult to shower. The hotel lacked some things like a microwave heater, or an in room water heater. Staff spoke SOME Spanish/English but not enough, so a few things we wanted/needed were just not possible to communicate. They have a Volleyball court BUT it was located so far from everything that no one used it, which is a pity because playing Volleyball is one of my favorite things to do when on a vacation hotel. The heated pool temperature was not hot enough. The natural thermal pool was rather cold for a "thermal" water. The food service was good, BUT, we had only Dinner included in the price. We payed for Lunch on day and this one paid food was clearly better, so we are left with the idea that there is a difference between the food included in the fare and the one you have to pay. They insist too much in selling you the "time shared" option and they won't take a no easily, which is pretty annoying when you are not interested in the slightest as it is our case.

Cons: I have travelled throughout the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels; however, this is the only hotel that I have stayed in that did not have an iron for me to use. This was incredulous.

Cons: the rooms were not clean we stayed at 116 and 120 they rooms were with ants all over the bathroom. Also other guess got sick on breakfast and they didnt have staff prepared to do CPR.

Cons: Reception staff in general not very friendly.

Cons: it was very dirty and it was not like a hotel with 5 stars . the cleanness is so low breakfast was so bad bathroom and tub was disgusting. even no free water in room. we had to change our hotel .
