Not quite pet-friendly, more pet-tolerant...

Pros: Nice large ground floor room made it easy to take pet for a walk.

Cons: Dogs are not allowed in any public areas at all. For a hotel that claims to be pet-friendly I'd suggest they are merely pet-tolerant.

Cons: Not been able to use the facilities, we went for one day and night and were told we could only swim between 7 and 11 the next day. Get up go to breakfast pack leave room then in about 5 mins have swim. I asked for a banana at breakfast was told there was none I asked for porridge and again was told there was none. I asked the young lady on the desk and she ordered me porridge and got me a banana, had I not asked three people I would not of had any breakfast. Staff could not be bothered. I asked for some hot milk to take my medications and was told they couldn’t because of health and safety . And had to beg for some as it was the only way I can take my meds. The bedding was tatty and the duvet was so thin it was practically non existent. I opened the bedroom window and it caught the pelmet rediculous. Won’t be staying again.

Pros: The spa and leisure was amazing, especially with own robes and the outside pool was definitely one of our favourites. We do wish we could of went to the infinity but an extra £30 per person on top of what we paid was not ideal. We visited the fusion restaurant which was beautiful, the prices were good too which was a surprise. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and using the pool facilities, the fresh water was also very very nice.

Cons: Firstly, the prices of everything on top of how much we paid for the room were excessive. When we arrived, the women who checked us in was not informative at all and due to us never staying there before it took us 20 mins to find out how to get from the spa through the hotel. We asked cleaners who were also very abrupt and rude, we asked “do you know how to get to the spa?” And only replied with “yes” and had to ask them “can you please explain where it is?”. We were not explained about the wristbands situation, therefore there was a major confusion with that or whereabouts of any restaurants. Furthermore, I forgot my ID which i understand it may be your policy to not serve drink without Id as I do look quite young. However, the staff were very rude about the situation and began to tell my boyfriend if they saw me drinking anything they would get a £10,000 fine and they would take it off us which in my eyes is very unprofessional and bad customer service. Even though there was a bottle of wine in the room, which to me makes no sense at all. Overall, the service was very poor apart from the people around the pool on the Saturday morning-afternoon there was a young girl there who I’m pretty sure is the only staff member who smiled as the rest looked absolutely miserable and didn’t seem to care nor want to help us.

Cons: The cleaning was poor when we got to our rooms to say we waited 3 hours for them to sort it and my partner stepped in a needle and pierced his foot there wasn’t any toilet roll either
