About Ramada Hotels By Wyndham Brand Hotels

Ramada is an international hotel chain that operates in more than 63 countries all over the world. Since 1953, over 800 hotels under this hotel chain in succession. In addition, it is known for being one of the hotel chains owned and operated by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. When it first opened, the hotel was founded by Michael Robinson and a restaurateur, Marion W. Isabel.

The first Ramada Hotel that opened to the public was a 60-room facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. The name “Ramada” was from the Spanish word “rama”, which means “branch”. One of the distinct quirks of Ramada hotels is that each structure adapts architecture that is based from colonial designs.

Just like any other business venture, the Ramada Inns, Inc also experienced some challenges. As a result, management had to split operations to include a hotels and casinos. Since Ramada was sold to New World Development, the gaming aspect of the business was spun into a new company Aztar Corporation.

Ramada currently offers various hotel tiers that suit the budget and services needed by their clients. Thus, the clients can choose either Ramada Limited, Ramada Inn/Suites, Ramada Hotel/Hotel & Resort/Hotel & Suites, Ramada Plaza, or Ramada Resorts. Each tier offers specific amenities and services.

    Cons: I had specifically requested a hotel with a restaurant as we had been on the road and it was wet and cold out but when we arrived we were told the restaurant was not attached and we would have to walk back to it so we ended up ordering a pizza at it was late.

    It was ok

    Pros: The bed was comfy. The room was large and clean. Love the long table under the TV. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was ok.
    Cons: The elevators were out of order. The room was ok but you could see water damage that was covered with paint. I didn't like that I wasn't asked at check in if I wanted to change my payment method..I did want to. We were put in a large room which was nice although the jet tub did not work. I also wish ALL hotels out larger trash cans in the rooms.

    I'm very uncomfortable stay and...

    Pros: Not much went well
    Cons: If it were truly a handicap room that could accommodate a patient lift, my wife would not have had to sleep in her wheelchair overnight, a practice that is not only uncomfortable but medically unwise, and the TV didn't work. The first at the front desk said was, there was nothing they could do, but they did feel sorry about it. They gave us a card to complain via email to the owner, which we will do.

    Cons: The front desk clerk had no customer service skills, she was completely biased against dogs and mine is very well behaved and she lied about the room types they had available plus tried to overcharge me the second night with some bogus reason. The breakfast was barely edible. There were issues in the room that would have been easy repairs if someone had actually tried to fix them. The wood on the bathroom door is so bad that I got two splinters within the first few minutes we were in the room. The AC/Heat unit did not work so I had to fix that and the coffee pot didn't work but I found that it was because it wasn't even plugged in. There was not sufficient sugar or creamer for the coffee and one of the coffee cup lids, which are supposed to be new, had writing all over it.

    Pros: It was in a good location and the pool was nice . The free breakfast was full stocked the whole time during breakfast .
    Cons: The one floor was full of people smoking weed so if you make one wrong turn and go from building a- b on accident then u end up in a not so family friendly part of the hotel.

    Pros: Bed was comfortable, good shower and water pressure. The coffee was very good.
    Cons: Towels were not clean. Room had a smell Breakfast was a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. Eggs were not edible. Employee that was stocking the breakfast items dropped a bunch of plastic “silverware” on the floor. He picked them up and looked around to see if anyone was watching then he placed them in the serving container.
