Traffic noise made for an unpleasant stay. Simply cannot relax.

Pros: Apartment style

Cons: We stayed in Apartment 13 and would not recommend. The traffic noise is constant day and night making it impossible to sleep. Asked to check out after one night because of this and were told full cancellation fee would apply even though we wanted to check out prior to the checkout time. If you want someone to unwind this is not the place.

Wouldnt stay here again, but didnt wreck our time in Bendigo!

Pros: Spacious areas, beds were clean and comfy.

Cons: Ordered a two bedroom apartment twin bed room + double bed. Received 2 double beds, advised reception who were unable to assist move rooms or provide trundle. Whole apartment smelt like burnt curry, not ideal. 2 bedroom apart only had 4 cups and 3 plates limited utensils.

Pros: The size of the room was brilliant. It was comfortable and spacious.

Cons: The doors to the balcony allowed cold weather in and it was SOOO noisy from the road because the doors didn't seem to seal and keep road noise out. The TV volume couldn't be changed so because of above issue, could not hear it. There seemed to be no remote for the reverse cycle heater so couldn't adjust the heat. It was either too hot when on or too cold when off. I had the worst nights sleep because of the road noise. It honestly sounded like the doors to the balconys were open

Pros: The reception staff were so lovely, and easy to communicate with.

Cons: When we first arrived, we had a free room update. Although it was appreciated, the room that we were upgraded too was right on the highway & very noisy. We went and spoke with the lady at reception, who was more than accommodating with getting us relocated to another room that was off the highway. When we checked in to the new apartment, it smelled so strongly of curry, to the point where we felt like we could not breathe. We opened the doors & windows straight away, but due to the windows having no fly screens, we needed to close them as moths, mosquitoes & other bugs quickly flew in. When we tried showering later on that night, the middle glass panel of the shower door in the ensuite was not on the rollers properly and almost fell out of top of us, we couldnt manage to prop the glass panel back up on the rollers, so we we werent able to close the door, which caused water to go all over the floor. The cold tap at the sink in the ensuite also didnt work. There was a drawer in the main bathroom of the apartment that had shaven hair all through & marks all over the cupboard doors. Cobwebs visible in almost every corner of every room. Overall we did not enjoy our stay, the smell was so intense that it caused us both to not sleep, we werent able to do anything about it otherwise the apartment would have filled up with bugs. We did try explaining these issues to the staff upon checking out, as we did not have time to discuss these issues during the days of our stay (leaving the apartment before reception opens/getting back after hours). Although the reception staff was very understanding, no remedy was offered.
