We liked Sydney and the...

Pros: We had the two bedroom apartment. It was very nice. The beds and bedding were good, and the place was clean. The location was perfect for access to the Sydney Opera House the the Sydney Harbor Bridge. The view was fabulous as shown in the pictures. We would stay here again just for the view.

Cons: This hotel was indicated to be a five star property, but it just wasn't. It should be accurately listed with four stars. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the onsite restaurant and bar. For Easter weekend, and without notice to expected guests, the bar was closed and the restaurant was closed, except for breakfast. Had we known, we would have stayed somewhere else. Even though the bar and restaurant were closed, there was a placard in front of the hotel the entire weekend inviting people to come in for the restaurant and bar. Maybe it was the weekend, but the staff we interacted with left us with the impression they were doing us a favor rather than wanting to provide good service. At breakfast, coffee was expensive and refills were not included. The gym was a disappointment - too small - and we chose not to use it.

Pros: Location - within walking distance of the CBD, Circular Quay, The Rocks, and Darling Harbour. The 1 bedroom city view apartment was spacious and well appointed.

Cons: The fridge/freezer defrosted itself and leaked water throughout the kitchen. The washing machine requires servicing - it was very loud and sounded like a rocket about to take off. The sofa bed is broken, the base for the mattress has come away from the frame, so the mattress falls down through the frame gaps.

Pros: Brilliant hotel in a terrific location for the sights and transport. Less than a 5 minute walk to circular Quay and opera house. Staff are incredible. So helpful and couldn't do enough to entertain our 2 children after a long flight.

This place was extremely comfortable...

Pros: We stayed in the 2 bedroom units with a harbor view and it was perfect. We had plenty of room and that view was unbelievable! We were close to everything.

Pros: Nice stop after a long trip, staff were perfect, location was perfect and it was a great deal compared to the rest of the choices downtown.

Cons: Room was too much like a small apartment or flat. Also a bit dated and seemed older and not new and clean.
