Cons: The room i Paid for is not the one I got. I paid for a family room and didn't get that. Also my children showed up to visit and they expected me to pay for them just to visit.

I'm reporting this hotel to the South Dakota department of health and safety

Pros: Nothing

Cons: After checking in, I received the key to the room and was told where it was located. My wife and I went to the room to find that the security lock (latching stem) on the door frame was loose about to fall off. The screws were very loose. I had a paper clip and was able to turn the screws but could not tighten them. The bottom screw was not tightening at all even with a paper clip. I called the front desk (Joe) to ask if there was another room that I could get transferred to and Joe said "no." I then said well we will not stay here feeling unsafe. He said then we could leave. After hearing that kind of answer I asked for a cancelation refund and he said he was "not" going to give me one. I told him I was going to call CHOICE and he said "call it's OK, do whatever you want. I'm not going to give you back your money." He said "the door latch was fine," I told him no it is not. He said "you don't need the safety latch you can use the deadbolt." I told him just cancel me cause I'm leaving. He said I can just leave. After I left the lobby, I went back in to get a receipt for $80 refund and I saw him going to the room to check for himself, so I followed him and video tapes him moving the latch and then me moving the latch to show him it was NOT safe. He said "take all the pictures you want. Take pictures of the hotel, I don't care I'm not giving you back your money." We left after all of 10 mins being there including talking to Joe.

Cons: Filthy, stains on furniture, floors and beds. Water leaks, pet odors and the night staff was rude and unprofessional. I waited for 1/2 calling the late check in number with no response. Then was greeted by a rude man who up charged me $39.00

Cons: The listed rating was way out and did not match the actual. This was by far the most run down place I have ever been to.

Pros: Staff were friendly

Cons: Room was outdated and dirty. Light fixtures and switch plates were filthy. The location was not desirable.

Cons: It was very drity the rooms had hair on the floor in the bathroom the comforter had holes the breakfast was a joke the had a pitcher for juice and a gallon of milk in a cooler no creamer for the coffee the waffle maker was drity the swimming pool was drit

Pros: It was by shopping areas

Cons: The hotel was run by a family,who I believe were incredibly fragile to the point where you felt like a burden, the air co divining was off in the hallways, was told they were busy till 5pm when I asked for an extra shampoo at 9am, the pool was closed.

Cons: Very difficult to access. Smelled like cat urine, cigarette smoke, and stale curry. Had to leave very early during a severe thunderstorm and the front door was barricaded and I was expected to walk severl hundred feet through the storm carrying my lugga

Cons: It was not as pictured. The breakfast area had almost no food, no cups or plates, the only juice was in a small pitcher and it had separated into a watery substance at the top. Coffee maker didnt work in the room couldnt replace right away.
