Delighted we chose this hotel and would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Pros: Perfect location for the Cite. Easy parking too. Fabulous, friendly staff, who went out of their way to assist us with an early arrival by arranging an early check in. Stylish room with outdoor area. Lovely pool for relaxing after a days touring, it It felt like you were in the country, yet so near the Cite.

Highly recommend. I would definitely stay again and may do next year.

Pros: The room was very spacious and well thought out. We had a Studio room with a patio which we really loved. The bed was very comfortable. The room also had a sofa bed which was handy for a visiting friend which the hotel was very happy to accommodate. Robes and slippers were also provided.

Cons: The swimming pool is in the shade and never warms in the sun so is too cold to use. I would recommend that it should be heated. There was also a lot of flys and bitting bugs which the hotel should deal better with. I have seen hotels deal with this daily by the gardeners in other countries with this problem.

A great place to stay for the old cite of Carcassone.

Pros: Close to the main gate into the cite, so it was quick and easy to visit the attractions and it was a lovely quiet oasis after the crowds. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The staff were all so helpful and pleasent.

Cons: One of the rooms was basement level and very dark.

Really nice hotel ideally located for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne.

Pros: Superb location right next to the Narbonnaise Gate into the medieval city. Really friendly staff. Hotel had a really nice atmosphere. On site car parking (15 euros per day). Nice room. Old style hotel but with modern style decorations and fittings. Very good continental buffet breakfast. Small but very good swimming pool. There are cheaper hotels in Carcassonne but this hotel is worth the extra cost.

Fabulous accommodation.

Pros: Fabulous location right outside gates of castle. Only 12 bedrooms in the hotel so very intimate. Lovely room and extremely comfortable bed. Very clean with an amazing shower. The staff were particularly warm and friendly. Would throughly recommend this hotel.

Cons: Breakfast was not the best and when we came down at 09.30 which is not late there was not much of a choice left. Not great value for money but you can chose not to have breakfast and go elsewhere i guess

A pleasure to drive up to the doorstep of the hotel, a prefect perch at the top next to citadel !

Pros: Perfect location just next to the citadel. Modern hotel with quality finishings. The receptionist who checked us in was very helpful and speaks English. The shower with the high end sprays are a delight and pleasure !

Cons: Breakfast was on the high side, and was packed up at 1030 am sharp without any pre-notification to the guests (only myself then) if any last helpings could be desired. There is no power sockets next to bed. The room is small with no where to place the extra pillows and the bed throw. The wardrobe is old, small, and felt like an ad hoc furniture not in matching with the rest of modern furniture.
