Pros: The location was perfect for travelling to the east or west side, Sea World, LAFB, and downtown. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. The full size kitchen was a big plus. And the room rates were reasonably economical.

Pros: They were accommodating when it came to what I wanted.

Cons: Website shows a King non smoking room "pictures" with either a chair or sofa. Not true. Only the King Suites have sofas. They need to remove that pic from regular room to suites. I can see the confusion.

Overall Everything is good except...

Pros: The rooms were clean, although they looked old. It was quiet enough, but I stayed in a separate building on the first floor, not in the main building, maybe that's why.

Cons: One of the worst motel/hotel breakfasts ever. I booked this hotel because of the label Very Good Breakfast, but the breakfast was: 1. Disgusting coffee. The worst coffee I have ever had. This one I poured out. 2. Buns out of the box. 3. The cereal. And that was it. That's the whole breakfast. How very good is it? I feel cheated.

Cons: There was a noise from the hot water heater or something from next door (not a motel room a motel room next door but apparently some type of utility room) that went on constantly and kept us awake for much of the night. Sheets and towels very thin. Room needs repair and refurbishing. gaps in tile, window crooked, etc. Breakfast was virtually non-existent. 2 cold cereals, no bagels or toast, milk and artificial orange juice. Some of the worst coffee I have ever had. Could not drink it.

Pros: Had my worries before coming due to some reviews but everything ended up being good. The room was spacious, clean and bug free! The cleaning lady was very nice and forthcoming. The location is far away from downtown SA, and it may appear a tad sketchy, but there are some nice restaurants, bakeries and shops in close proximity to the property. I took the local bus downtown very often and it felt like a usual bus drive in any city. Bus drive is ca 45 mins. And you do get a bit of a feel for what it actually looks like to live in SA, not just the touristy downtown.

Cons: Neighborhood was very sketchy. Breakfast non-existent. SHeets were VERY thin, Price WAY TOO HIGH for quality hotel. Needed to be painted and refreshed.
