Pros: We lived on the second floor in two floor bungalow. Bed was super comfy, linen and pillows as well, but that is actually it. Staff was welcoming as well.

Cons: This place, overall really needs renovation. Our room smelled like mold. It was probably very nice place when they built it on 2014. When we booked this property, there were said - Superior Cottage, and booking mentions "entire place", and with entire place photo was added little, pretty tiny house. We lived in two floor cottage, and in the first floor lived other people. No common facilities of course, but it was not entire place what we wanted. We asked staff why so, they said that place they gave us is totally the same as this Superior Cottage, in reality it is the same. They showed us, and yes it looked identical, but the smell was also there. We stayed in room they gave as at the beginning. In the morning we took small walk around territory and understood that here is no other tourists in these Deluxe Cottage and Cottage Suite. Territory was full of dried leaves, pond was overgrown and many broken stuff around. It looked sad and abandoned. Probably because of off season. The scariest thing in our room was electricity lightning. There was 2-3 time at night when due to functioning conditioner and rain, we saw electric lightning splash in our room. We thought that it was because of rain. There were also many ants in toilet. What was funny, there were no clothing hangers in wardrobe. If You would like to use them, you need to rent them. Breakfast was very bad. Tried one morning, and next did not go there. Photos are really nice, full of light, but it was not so overwhelming there.

The windows werent very sealed They forgot to put water in our rooms when they made the rooms, but they brought them when asked The place was not well kept overall, might need some restoring done because the spaces and the location overall has so much potential

Pros: The cottage was nice and roomy the bed was softer than most beds in Thailand.

Cons: No hot water on the 1st night when it was fixed very little water pressure in the shower. Laundry was over priced. Had wifi but no internet connection. Shuttle into cost 2x that of a grab.

Lovely Resort in Chiang Rai!

Pros: I stayed there for one night and booked a lovely cottage. Very spacious room and nice interior design. After all day long doing sightings, it was great to stay at a hotel which is in a nice and quiet area.

Cons: The only negative thing is that when you buy the buffet dinner (350bht) you have to pay extra for even water.

Pros: Great location. Beautiful plants all around. Very beautiful pool side that is perfect for relaxing after a tiring day! I love it!

Cons: Very loud group-energizer activity in the morning from a conference that took place at Phowadol (with loud speakers). Starting at 6 am (!) it really disturbed my sleeping. This should be done in a different place where there are no guests nearby.

Cons: it is a pity that such a place is so out to date. Certainly needs more maintenance and many improvements on the installations. Has a wonderful area, surrounded by gardens and nice trees, but the status is quite poor. Breakfast's food quality is bad The swimming pool was really dirty

Pros: Phowodol seems to be an older resort, but well maintained and looked after. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a bungalow room, but a little disappointed to find that the 'double bed' was actually 2 singles pulled together... Buffet breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices...a little busy, as there were some tour parties staying overnight, but enjoyable nonetheless!
