    Cons: Disappointed with room, very small, but functional for one night. The two single beds that were pushed together to make a double were different heights. Quite a distance from town centre.

    Pros: Comfy bed, nice pool, clean in overall. Location wasn't too bad either.
    Cons: Breakfast! It was really bad. I think all the meals are not made in their kitchen and they are preheated. We arrived with small baby so all he could eat was natural yogurt or porridge. Shower had a really bad water pressure, so it took me at least 10 minutes to rinse my long hair, hotel definately needs refurbishment.

    Cheap and cheerful hotel for a few nights would be my view

    Pros: Lovely food, nice staff friendly and helpful. Lovely indoor pool. Nice dining room and bar area. Adequate free parking.
    Cons: Room a little dated and small, bed was a little soft and lumpy, bathroom dated and very basic. The hotel is quite a distance from the town and bus service to the town is every 1.5 hours. Its dated in appearance and really could use a revamp.

    Great stay but avoid the extras

    Pros: Hotel in general was fine, clean and cosy.
    Cons: For a dog friendly hotel it would be great to have poo bins outside the hotel, the closest at the moment is 5 min walk away. The staff in the Sixty restaurant are really rude and miserable so I would avoid there, definitely not good value for money. At breakfast, we understand we have to stay in the bar area with a dog, but remember we are there please, also shit the door leading to the pool, it's not great having the smell of chlorine, damp and sweat floating through when trying to eat.

    Disappointing

    Comfortable stay, decent views and location but the decor is old and worn out. Not a luxury hotel.

    Pros: Location is excellent, right off Fistral beach. Sea view was great. Breakfast was decent enough
    Cons: For the price paid I was expecting a more luxurious feel to the hotel. Interior and exterior are very tired, nothing like the photos online. Walls in the room were badly scuffed, the whole place needs redecorating inside and out. Loud music from the wedding downstairs went on to about midnight, no warning was given.

    Pros: Friendly staff, bar and restaurant on site and well situated for a good coastal walk and visit.
    Cons: It's not a didn't like, it's constructive feedback. The room was a little dated and had alot of marks, smudges and scratches. The en suite very small and the shower cubicle, before hubby cleared it, was overflowing and filled with water.. However it's an old building and the upgrades so far look beautiful and could it now benefit from some more decorating and modernising to take it up a level.
