Relaxing stay

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The lady on breakfast, I think the manager down there, really helped us out. Breakfast was fresh, hot and suitable to our dietary requirements. The pool area was lovely and clean. The beds were comfy.. There's a brilliant church service in one of the rooms on a Sunday morning with wonderful singing. I left early on this stay so didn't get to join

Cons: Grubby carpets on corridoors felt disappointed before I reached the room. In room stains on curtains and chair and everything worn the sink all scratched up, room needs a refurb. Another family members room had a curtain missing.

Pros: Room was nice, clean, bed very comfortable

Cons: Food took over half hour to come even though there was just us and another couple in the restaurant. When food came (we had the penne pasta) it wasn't very nice and tasted like cheap tinned spaghetti hoops. Told waiter who didn't really care. Having to pay an extra £7 to park on top of the £80 price for one nights stay was unbelievable.

Waste of my hard earned...

Pros: When we checked in we were not given information about the hotel i.e breakfast, wifi etc. Our room was not clean, we notified the reception and they say they needed to come and see the room. There were food and drink splashes all over the walls and the curtains. It looked like someone had a food fight in there. The room was very dusty. It was quite far from the reception so perhaps it wasn't used that often. The light switches were covered in grease to where my finger just slipped off of it. The receptionist agreed the room was not clean, we were given a smaller room and offered a free drink as compensation *rolls eyes* The new room was not much cleaner but it was acceptable I guess. The bed was comfortable and I did get a good nights sleep. Probably the only good thing about the stay. Whilst waiting to complain about the room I hear the receptionist other guests about the price of breakfast and how to access the wifi. We therefore decided to enquire about the breakfast, it was a difference of £4 in price if you ordered the day before vs the next day. We did order breakfast. The breakfast was ok, standard. It was a buffet where you could help yourself. We were disappointed they didn't have a vegetarian sausage option but then we overheard them tell another guest they could order vegetarian sausages from the kitchen. The parking was an additional £7 for 24hrs this was not mentioned in the booking that parking was not included or would come at an additional price... Overall I was glad it was just one night stay couldn't wait to get out of there. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not!

Cons: The hotel room was not clean, no body wants to leave the comfort of their home to stay in a dirty hotel room. The communication could have been a lot better, information was not provided to us, we learnt things because we overheard them being told to other customers.

Cons: On booking it was not mentioned that parking will cost extra. This is not on. As this was first time staying at this hotel - parking fee was waived. However parking should be part of the room charge and not extra for the price charged.
