    An excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff

    Pros: Excellent hotel, spacious room and well equipped. The reception staff couldnt do enough to help and a special thank you to Xuyen for her good advice.
    Cons: Looking at the pictures on booking.com it seems as if the beach and swimming pool are next to the hotel when in reality you have to take a shuttle bus or walk there.

    A dangerous facility which caused injury

    Pros: Nice hotel
    Cons: The announce was very inaccurate. The commercial offer shows an image of wonderful swimming pool in front of a nice building. In fact, the swimming pool is exactly 2.3km away. So, the commercial should mention it more clearly because it takes a solid 20 minutes to get there. So far, this is acceptable. Nevertheless what is not, is that the swimming pool is near an abandoned building not properly watched. So I have randomly been attacked by stray dogs that appeared from nowhere, and got bitten hard as I tried to escape. Not only did I have the fear of my life, but I am now and an anti-rabid treatment of 5 injections, that have ruined my holidays, and have made my budget boomed. I am very disappointed by the way booking.com make up offers that are far for what they are meant to be and unchecked.

    Break your trip here- it was exceptional.

    Pros: INCREDIBLE: I planned this as a moments break for us during our busy travel schedule and it was amazing. It was exceptional in every way, including cost. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. Staff, rooms, beds, facilities, dinner and breakfast were all 4 star+. The hotel is in the Ha Long harbour, away from the city of Ha Long, and September is not high season, so there was no one around, no one using the beautiful infinity pool or the private hotel beach, and no one trying to sell us stuff as we wandered (exactly the break I needed). Next time I will come for a longer stay as this was lush.

    Friendly staff

    Pros: The rooms were modern and clean. We especially loved the staff (Jan) who made sure we had everything we needed and beyond. They really make sure to cater to everyones needs.
    Cons: The main picture of the pool that is used to advertise the property is actually about 2km away from the hotel. While they do take you there with electric cars, it is still not as easily accessible. You also cannot access pool after 7pm. The hotel is located in a secluded area where there isnt much to do. There is no gym in the hotel or nearby as well as very few restaurants and almost no cafes. While we acknowledge this is not the fault of the hotel, this information was not transparent when booking.
