No AC in October!

Pros: It had an elevator and didn't charge for parking

Cons: They turned off the AC for the season. It was so hot in the room even with the windows open. We finally went down to the front desk and complained. About 20 minutes later they brought a portable AC unit to the room. Then we were able to enjoy the room.

Pros: Only stayed at this hotel as our tour was starting here-rooms were big , staff friendly , too far out of Rome -cab cost 50 + no buses or trains nearby! There is a small shopping centre next door with a supermarket and cafeteria which was handy !

Pros: The bed was semi comfortable and it was clean. The carpets and chairs had stains everywhere .

Cons: Very misleading and poor communication. It is rated a 4 star but clearly it is not. The hotel is located in an ugly area , next to a market and a department store. The air conditioner has a leak the whole time we were there. I emailed them at least a month in advance to inquire about the shuttle to the airport; they never replied. If I would have known that they charged 60 euros for an 18 minute ride to the airport, I would have not picked them. We gave the driver our credit card to pay and he saiid he would have to Pay tax and refused to accept it. He drove me to an airport ATM which changed insane transaction fee. We ended up paying $80 + for an 18 minute ride.

Pros: You overbooked your hotel and sent us to the Black Hotel. We have never been to such a poor, low grade hotel ever.

Cons: They put us in a room with three single beds all facing in different directions. The room had a strong smell of smoke. We were told it was a no smoking room. They changed our room, it smelt better but not satisfactory for paying over $200.00
