    Pros: The hotel is well-located and has a unique old-world charm. The staff are friendly and try to cater with a smile.
    Cons: There are no elevators in the hotel and the trudge up to the rooms or rooftop restaurant may not be friendly for the elderly. The food is average and the menu has no theme. The breakfast buffet is passable at best. Many rooms have no windows or view. The amenities in the bathrooms need improvement.

    Pros: We liked the location and food that was prepared by hotel chef.
    Cons: Their approach towards the customers is bad and they are charging more amount for the that doesn't have any view. Online it said 1st floor but view itself is not there and we want to extend the stay for 3 hrs that charged 2000rs even though there was no person is waiting for that room they want to rip of the customers

    Old world charm. Amazing location. Brilliant stay

    Pros: Great location, bang at the entrance of assi ghat. The rooftop restaurant serves amazing North indian cuisine. The staff were very helpful.

Upper level room is just behind the reception and there is no view in any room. For people travelling in SUVs, entering that lane is a big no because of the crowd. The only plus point about the hotel is the location. Apart from that, my stay wasn't great.

    Exceptional

    Absolutely marvellous.

    Pros: Palace on ganges is a great experience and one I would recommend to anyone. Great rooms, food and service. I'll go there again if I'm in this neck of the woods.
    Cons: A meal was put on my bill that we hadn't had. Just a mistake I'm sure but that's the only negative I can come up with.
