Nightmarish Stay :Broken Amenities, Unfriendly Staff, and Overall Disastrous, Utterly Dissatisfied
Pros: I would like to express my utmost disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at NH on the 4th of July 2023.
Unfortunately, the experience I had at the hotel, particularly in room 333 on the third floor, was nothing short of appalling. I must bring to your attention the numerous issues I encountered during my stay, which left me feeling utterly dissatisfied.
To begin with, the room that was assigned to me came with a list of supposed benefits, none of which were actually delivered.
One of the most basic amenities, a functional fan, was in a state of disrepair, rendering it unable to stand on its own. This inconvenienced me greatly, as I was unable to cool down in the summer and the room had no air-conditioning and had to endure an uncomfortable night's sleep.
Furthermore, the television provided in the room was completely useless due to a lack of connections. There was no single channel available in the television. Despite the expectation of being able to relax and unwind by watching TV, I was left with a non-functional device that offered no entertainment value whatsoever.
Seeking a resolution to these problems, I promptly brought these concerns to the attention of the reception employee within an hour of my check-in. To my dismay, the employee merely jotted down my complaints on a piece of paper with a disingenuous smile and mentioned that they would attempt to arrange another room for me, promising to contact me shortly.
I went back to 333, adding to my disappointment, the majority of the electrical sockets in the room were devoid of any electricity. This lack of power made it impossible for me to utilize my gadgets effectively during my stay. This inconvenience greatly hindered my ability to carry out essential tasks and added unnecessary frustration to my experience.
I found the shower room, was not properly cleaned, I found a long black hair, it just added to my frustrations.
Cons: The unsanitary conditions I encountered were not unhygienic but reflected a lack of attention to detail and proper maintenance, which is crucial for any establishment providing hospitality services. Regrettably, despite my follow-up after an additional hour, the same employee informed me with a noticeable lack of concern and with a fake smile that no solution had been found. Consequently, I was left with no alternative but to spend the entire night enduring these unacceptable conditions. The lack of service and assistance provided the staff was disheartening, leaving me feeling completely disregarded as a guest. Moreover, I would like to highlight the reception employee's unfriendly demeanor throughout the interaction. Despite the facade of a smile, their lack of genuine empathy and inability to provide any meaningful assistance compounded the frustration I felt due to the room's numerous issues. This level of customer service falls far below the standard I expect from a reputable hotel. Considering the aforementioned experiences, I am compelled to categorize my stay at NH hotel as the worst I have ever encountered. It is disheartening to realize that despite paying for a room, I was subjected to broken amenities, lack of functionality, unclean facilities, and an overall lackluster experience. If the employee, had made a single effort, to atleast provide a functional fan, it would have been much helpful. Such, irresponsible, show-off employees, kills the reputation of the entire group of hotel. No guest should ever have to endure such a disappointing experience, and it is my wish that no one else encounters similar circumstances in the future. I have decided to completely avoid NH group hotels for my future travel.
