Pros: This is a remarkably wonderful hotel on all counts, including food. I am 81 and have traveled the world and it is truly one of the top five hotels I've been to in my long adventurous life.

Pros: The property is gorgeous, the room was perfect, and the food was amazing. The service was consistently fantastic everywhere we went. We also enjoyed the kayaking offered to us.

Cons: The reservation process for restaurants could have been better. Most of the restaurants were not busy so we didn't understand why we were required to have reservations for dinners later in the evening, 8 and 9pm. I also found a travelzoo deal for specifically Hotel Mousai, in the South Tower on a higher floor for about 50% less than what I paid through booking.com, and the price was 3 nights for $1,500, 2 guests per room, for a fourth night it was $589.

I wish I should of stayed longer!!

Pros: everything was so beautiful! I felt so pampered and catered to! The grounds were immaculate! The staff was wonderful!

Cons: I would say the sales pitch but they werent even pushy with that. There was a short blackout after a bad storm passed through but things were back up and running in no time!

Very Poor

Worst Possible Experience

Pros: The Spa was amazing

Cons: My wife and I had the worst possible experience. They made no effort to make it better. We changed rooms 3 times in 5 nights due to cockroaches in our hot tub, construction fumes permeating the room, and other basic room functionality and cleanliness issues. I went out of my way to resolve the issues with the property while there and was stood up several times and treated very disrespectfully by the property management. I then tried to work with booking.com to resolve the issue and they further wasted my time and were not resolving the issues. I then had to contest the charges with American Express. I have never written a negative review, it's not my way, but out experience with Hotel Mousai was that bad. It was supposed to be a special long weekend for my wife's birthday and it ended up being a nightmare. They wouldn't let us leave the property to catch our flight unless I paid and signed a blank piece of paper, I was forced to pay even thought we were as unhappy as could be just so we could be allowed to go home. Booking.com has also not been helpful at all in resolving this issue and I will no longer recommend them either.
