Could have been a nice...

Pros: Location was nice even though it was far from Moscone (which was my main point of interest during this trip). The room was big enough for the price and the shower was nice.

Cons: Cleaning services were not very good (we found someone else's socks in the room). Overall, the stay would have been OK but the front desk staff was very rude and aggressive when handling an error they made on my request to extend my reservation. I asked to check out on Sunday instead of Saturday, they agreed, gave me a price for the extra night, took my credit card information and all but apparently registered it on the wrong day. On Saturday, when I was supposed to check out, they called me and gave me an ultimatum to leave the room in 20 minutes "or else they would report me to booking" (?). After asking repeatedly to stop yelling at me and to show a little respect, I explained I couldn't pack a whole week worth of things in 20 minutes and they threatened even more. After some minutes they realized it was their error and told me it would be difficult for me to find another hotel so they would do their best to accommodate me, but it would be more expensive and probably I would need to change to another room. They asked for my credit card again and finally maintained the original agreement, even apologized for the yelling after I called them out for it. Due to the aggressiveness and rudeness created by a mistake that was not my fault at all, the stay left a very sour taste for me, and I will definitely not be coming back. Even if the result was that I could stay the extra night I needed and no matter what reasons there could be for someone's attitude, I will not accept anyone to yell at me or threaten me or treat me like I'm a felon that has to run away from a place, especially when I did nothing wrong.

Cons: Elevator out of service still. Had seen reviews that it was out of service in Jan 2024, still not fixed and given story that techs were coming in next few days. My 76 year old father had to climb 2 flights of stairs every time we went out, and we had booked for 3nights. Staff only come into reception once you are at the main desk. Breakfast was very very basic. Towels not in room on check in and not replaced when housekeeping done. Blown light bulb in bathroom for duration of stay.

Pros: Close to the bus, which drives to the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 in less than 15 minites. The room was clean and we had breakfast included. Free parking is a big plus.

Cons: Breakfast could be a little more, but for us it was fine.

Pros: Good location that felt safe and quiet. Well kept rooms with free, convenient parking. Ice machine and soda vending. Helpful staff. Basic breakfast included, however I didn’t avail myself of it. Had a really nice retro feel but without feeling old or tatty. Would happily stay again.

Cons: The room walls were quite thin, though nothing worse than you would usually find at a motel of this kind. No working elevator, though I had picked this up from other reviews and it didn’t bother me.

Cons: First of all, I understand that it is not a hotel its "MOTEL" , but why is this price so expensive for this lower-level MOTEL ? I would have accepted all of that if its price was lower, why 127 dollars per night!!! Very expensive The elevator was not working and I carried my luggage to the third floor The room has a bad smell Sometimes Wi-Fi works and many times it doesn't work at all Breakfast location is in a restaurant outside the hotel!!! The TV screen was broken There is a telephone in the room, but it does not work. It seems that they do not want any communication with the guest Sleeping pillows are very worn out , very bad and must be replaced. They cause neck pain when sleeping on them The hand sink in the bathroom is clogged The area, especially in the morning, is very noisy from hotel guests, room service workers, and passers-by outside the motel It seems that the hotel service workers do not speak English, so i put the "do not disturb" sign because i do not want anyone to enter my room when i am outside the room, but i find the room services opening my room and cleaning it!!!

Cons: No elevator, you have to carry everything 3 floors to be in the room, breakfast is only coffee and toast, no internet, they never clean the room, we request more toilet paper and Kleenex and they said wherever it's at the room have to be enough for us, really bad experience
