It was a good stay except not being able to read in bed which I do every night

Pros: Good location. First floor, dogs stay free, clean

Cons: Very poor lighting. The one over the bed was not working so all we had was a desk lamp which wasnt enough to read in bed.

Pros: There was no breakfast. Only coffee - and not great coffee at that. The room was clean but the entire motel is in need of repairs. There was nothing about this place that we liked and we stay at Motel 6 frequently when we travel in such a manner that we will only be there a few hours to sleep and move on.

Cons: No where in bookings.com was a $50 refundable incidental fee mentioned that was to be collected at check in. I objected to this because we checked in at about 8 pm and planned on checking out by 7 am the next morning. There would be no incidentals - its not like they have room service or anything. The desk clerk pointed to a quarter size hole in the ceiling and informed me that a customer had done that and this is why the charge the fee to cover damages. I replied Then why have you not repaired the hole? I assume you kept that customers $50?! He had no answer. I better see a $50 credit on my account today or there will be issues. The building is falling apart. We had to take an upstairs room and the stairs to get there were rusting out - piles of rust and fallen metal from the stair casing lay underneath the stairs. The stairs themselves were mushy. The room itself was clean but the mattress was so old and uncomfortable sleep was almost impossible. Pillows were hard as rocks and springs in the mattress literally poked through every time you rolled over and stabbed you in the back. It is quite possibly the worst motel 6 weve ever experienced. We were only there to sleep for a few hours and that why we chose a cheaper motel but by the time the $50 incidentals charge was added we could have stayed at a Marriott!

Cons: A $50 deposit, even though I paid for the room prior to arriving. Ridiculous and if I didnt have the cash on hands, I wouldve had to wait a few days to get it credited back to my card.

Pros: Hands down the best price and quality of all (4 stars & under) hotels I have stayed at! Room was modern, clean, and the staff ridiculously friendly! I was surprised after the small amount I payed at booking. And Breakfast too! Wow

Cons: Sink leaked from under the sink onto the floor. Heat didnt work.

Only 1 night; housekeeper (same one) banged on door at least 12 times before 9:30am.

Cons: Front of motel looked decent. Back of hotel (where they were putting everyone) had tons of rotten exterior wood trim and all the room doors looked like they were taken from a war zone. The overhangs and stairs looked unsafe. There was tons of trash in the parking lot (back of motel only). Not paper trash; appliances from motel and maybe some from other places... car parts... Stayed for one night. The housekeeper banged on my door TWELVE TIMES before 9:30 am. It was the same housekeeper each time.

Cons: There was nothing I didnt like. It isnt the ritz, it is old. It was a good hotel though for a traveler.

Cons: I killed 3 Bed Bugs in my room on my 3 day stay 12/17/23. Reported it to management. So hopefully they address the problem.

Really scary neighborhood

Pros: We walked in and saw filthy messes and people fighting in a couple rooms and immediately checked out. Sketchy neighborhood. The staff were very nice and issued us an immediate refund.
