The room cleanliness and setup were particularly suitable for our family, accommodating the needs of traveling with a 2-year-old well. While not lavish, it's a solid choice for travelers prioritizing location and simplicity.

Cons: A significant drawback was the lack of stroller accessibility. There's no easy way to enter the hotel without lifting the stroller, which posed a considerable inconvenience. Moreover, the elevator was out of service one day, requiring a challenging carry to the second floor. These issues mark a notable disadvantage for those with young children or mobility concerns.

Cons: Air conditioner was not working and our windows opened only a crack so room was still warm. The window also faced the breakfast area so it was warm AND dark. Breakfast can also get very crowded with long lines at the short buffet table.

Pros: The manager Milo tried to make things right but unfortunately we only met him when we were checking out.

Cons: When we booked we specifically wanted to stay by St Charles bridge but when we arrived we were surprised and disappointed to find that we had been booked into another moods hotel further down the river. When we raised this with staff they just laughed. The room I booked was meant to have a king size bed and a double sofa bed but we only had the king size bed and a fold out single bed. The room was poorly maintained and even had what looking like hair stuck to the wall in the main bedroom. The room was unbearably hot and despite repeated requests to the front desk this was not rectified resulting in neither of us sleeping for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was mediocre at best. It was also crammed into a small u-shaped area of the bar which made it very difficult and awkward especially during the peak times. Location was quite but a long way from where we wanted to be. This was a one time only trip for my 40 birthday and I was sad and disappointed that the accommodation wasn’t what we had been promised.

Cons: some staff do not speak English and are not that friendly, eg staff providing breakfast. On the contrary reception staff was friendly, English speaking and helpful. At the last night there was an electricity shortcut in some rooms, including ours, from about midnight to morning. Only on demand reception issued information. We had an early check out and preparing yourself in the dark was not that enjoyable. Management did not react at all and did not provide anything in exchange of the damage.

Cons: rooms were too hot, can't close the heating, opening the windows were the only way to fix this. No room acustic insulation so quite some noise from neighbor rooms
