Pros: The property has a great location, easy access to sheikh zayed road, JBR, Marina. Staff was super friendly. I liked their breakfast concept: buffet plus a la carte, so that you can order anything you like from the breakfast menu.

Cons: The property is a bit old and will be under renovation in April. The palm view doesn't correspond Booking pictures as DAMAC started construction right in front of it. It is still a partial palm view though.

Great value for business travellers and within walking distance to Media City and Dubai Marina

Pros: I booked this hotel due to its proximity to an office building where I needed to work for a few days. Having evaluated several options, Media One came out on top in terms of value. After arriving at the hotel around 2 am, Shahul pleasantly welcomed me at the front desk. He promptly checked me in and gave me an upgraded room with a view of the Palm Jumeirah. The room was like in the photos, more than enough for a single traveler. The room was cleaned daily, with a fresh bottle of water, towels etc. The hotel has a nice gym with 2 treadmills and several weight stations. The pool is nearby, so going for a swim after a workout is easy and refreshing. There are towels for you to use at both locations. You don't need to bring one from your room. Just make sure to bring a water bottle. The 'Garden on 8' restaurant has reasonably priced meals, around EUR 50 for a starter, a main meal, and a pint of beer. The Dubai Marina is less than a 5-minute walk away. Great for an evening stroll. The Dubai Marina Mall is around a 30-minute walk. I would definitely go here again on my next business trip to Dubai Media City.

Cons: The only thing missing were paper cups and some ventilators at the gym. The first time I went for a run on the treadmill, I forgot to bring the water bottle from my room. The temperature can get pretty warm, and the air stale. Also, the pool seems to be a smoking area for guests in the morning.

Good value for money

Pros: The staff was super nice and always helpful. The room was also nice, with lots of storage space. The bed was comfortable (not too soft) and I really appreciated that 2 pillows were provided - one firm and one soft. There was a bathtub in the bathroom which to me was a big plus. WiFi worked well. We also liked the location, since it was close to Marina, and with good Metro connection to the city.

Cons: Unfortunately the windows are not isolated well, so you can hear noises from outside. Even though we were on the 18th floor, we could still hear lots of loud music from the bar downstairs (it was so loud only on one night though, until 00:00). It is also a little shame that there is no proper wall between the room and the bathroom, only glass. It was not an issue for us, since we came as a couple, but I would not imagine sharing the room like this with a friend.

Great location with friendld staff.

Pros: The location, staff, amenities. thanks alot to all staff specially Hameed and Emily who made our stay more pleasant.

Cons: The room was a bit small but we managed it. And Just a small note: there was tv channels in many different languages but not German(Not that we needed that but when other languages were available, one expect German to be there too).
