Pros: Nice view overlooking the water. Comfortable, clean and friendly staff. It was out of town and had to walk along narrow street which was very quiet.

Cons: Didn't feel safe to walk around after dark own own. No breakfast facilities at the hotel. Only dinner is available at this establishment.

Spent 5 amazing days over the water and walking to all the best attractions!

Pros: The views were spectacular! Sea Lions, herons, seals and sea birds right off the deck. Lots of room and well stocked with great cookware. Staff was exceptional. Close 5 minute walk to downtown. Away from crowds and right over the water! Lovely!

Cons: The room had nothing like what was advertised. No view. Just a view on a few pickup trucks. Dark and depressing. Manager was nowhere to be found me upon arrival. And when checking out nobody was on the property and we had to wait until somebody showed up. We were very very disappointed.

Pros: The staff was amazing, after a delayed flight out of Seattle, missing our cruise and landing in Sitka after midnight, a van was ready to pick up 10 of us and go to the hotel and took other passengers to the neighboring hotels as well.

Quietest, relaxing short vacation in the heart of Sitka at a super price!!

Pros: I really like that I was able to book weeks ahead and my reservation was not forgotten. The property contacted me to ask which flight I was coming in on and they just left my receipt and directions how to get into my room attached on the door so I didnt have to wait for somebody at 11 oclock at night or try to wake somebody up at 11 oclock at night. Its a small hotel so there is no staff at a desk all night. The prices for hotels in Sitka are really high. This was the second cheapest hotel, so I was expecting far less than I got so I was very pleased. I loved that there was no disturbances.. We enjoyed our stay and will be staying there again in the future! A+

Cons: The only thing I think that should be done by whoever owns the docs is to put another gate That goes down the walkway to the water and the boat docks because like I have a three year old grandson that I traveled with and though I was really good at watching him, the one downside of the room was the door handle was the only way to lock yourself in your room there is no secondary lock like no deadbolt no latch and when you have a three-year-old who knows how to open regular door handles that caused a bit of anxiety, especially since the dock in that water bridge was about 10 steps from our door. And he listens really well for a three year old, but I still had this innate anxiety about him, sneaking out while we were sleeping, because that dock just made him so curious and he loves water, but he does not swim on his own being only 3. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST to the property to get a secondary lock on the doors like typical hotels have. It may SAVE THE LIFE OF A CHILD. I can just see a child sneaking out when mom is sleeping or in the shower etc and drowning. I would like to say that I would never say to not stay here due to it but you will be needing to watch the child every minute here as the handle isnt one you can use a simple child proof knob cover on as its a pull down handle. I would never suggest not to stay just be aware of your small child and the door systems there.

Pros: We enjoyed being down by the Marina, views of the water and being close to town. Our room was very clean, with big windows and the owner was easily accessible.
