    Quite good by London standards,

    Pros: The location is convenient - not far from Bayswater and Queensway underground stations. The room was comfortable, the staff polite. I liked the fact that the hotel provided copies of 'The Times' that guests could take away.
    Cons: Breakfast was not a great experience. The breakfast room is a bit cramped. There was no service at table. All food and drink was self service. Some of the warm food left on the hot plate did not look very appetising (in particular the bacon).

    Lovely hotel with warm reception...

    Pros: Very nicely decorated and looked after, extremely polite and friendly welcome, perfect location. Free upgrade was really appreciated after a very long day at work. And a bath! Too few of those in hotel rooms these days. Lovely view from window. Hope to return.

    Pros: I walked in after an 18 hour flight from Japan and I was knackered. Romao was incredibly friendly and even gave me a free room upgrade. The bed was insanely comfortable. I almost fell asleep the moment I laid down on it. It had a nice view overlooking Princes Square as well.
    Cons: No refridgerator in the rooms.

    Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful area.
    Cons: The rooms were too small for our family of six. We needed to book two rooms which is always what we expect. However, there is only one quadruple room in the hotel and no interconnecting rooms. We were never told that the quadruple room was a split level room (no pictures on website either) with four steep steps down into the lower second room with a double bed in a very tight space. This room was unsuitable for our toddler as the steps were too steep and dangerous. So, my husband and three other children stayed in this room. My toddler and I went into the other standard double. It was so tiny. Our stroller filled the floor space with our bag. The room was cold and I had to ask reception to come up to the room at night to try and get the heating system working. The breakfast selection was below average. The bonus was that the kitchen staff were really friendly and nice.
