We stayed for the weekend as we were heading to a festival, $175 per night was not worth staying here for. I could of bo

Pros: Usually Im a girl that doesnt care too much about an expensive room. Im happy with ibis, pub rooms etc, more just a place to put my bags and rest my head because I dont live in my room when Im out and about. Until. Until I booked this place lol. The pics are defiantly not the same. I did not check reviews because I wanted a cheaper room as we were heading out to a big name festival for the weekend. But the shower was clean, as was the toilet and the sheets were fresh and the location of the property. Thats all I liked.
Cons: Had to leave a $100 deposit for keys once I checked in. I got it back when I checked out. It didnt mention it on the app when booking. Once I got to my room I had no toilet paper, I went back to reception and waited 5min for the reception to serve me. I got my toilet paper and came up to shower. No towels, I walked back down and waited at reception, waited another 5min before We decided to just go buy our own towels. While eating out I checked reviews ! What they say is correct and true. Had no fixtures on lighting. No tv, no trash can (we brought bags) no towels, no toilet paper, there was a punch hole in the bathroom door, bathroom door didnt shut properly, windows had no screens and opened right up, no locks, there were none on any level. So making jumping out easy, not safe for curious kids, it was quite high up and would cause death or serious injury. while a large room, it was quite bare with very out dated and damaged furniture. The bathroom light had no fixture and was quite dull, there was no PowerPoint, it was wires hanging out the wall where the PowerPoint Was. you had a mirror, no PowerPoint but in the main section you had PowerPoints but no mirror (so a trip back to the shop to get a mirror on a stand to be able to do my hair and make up comfortably). had to hold the shower head while you showered, it didnt attach to the wall and sprayed out where the hose meets the head. A tap handle was missing so you had to swap the one handle from cold to hot to turn it off and on. Also there is a cockroach infestation. I had a baby one crawling over make up bag on the desk and we woke in the morning to baby ones and a couple big ones on the wall. We wore our thongs around the room.

Pros: The property was close to the venue in which I was attending a concert, other than that there was nothing good.
Cons: Property was not up to ANY standards. Elevator was very rough and would drop when stopping. The entire room was on a slope. TV remote only had 1 battery when it needed 2 to work. Aircon was on the entire time and did not make a change in temperature at all, not to mention it was incredibly dusty inside. Shower roof was falling apart, had tape all over it and was absolutely covered in mould. Shower head did not stay when moved higher and instead kept falling down, and when trying to adjust the tightness of the shower head it started to spray water from the top. Bathroom sink also sprayed water everywhere, left and right. Only one tiny bin in the whole room and there was a used cotton tip behind it. Only had 2 half empty toilet rolls when checking into the room, not a new, unused one. Bathroom door did not close properly. The lining on the bottom of the cabinets were peeling and falling off. Hair dryer did not work, most of the power points did not work, was supplied with a kettle and iron, though we did not use can assume they also did not work. Booking stated we would have a microwave, coffee/tea maker and ironing board which we did not have. Only 2 mugs in the entire room, no forks, spoons, knifes, bowls or plates. Half of the lights in the room and bathroom did not work, and those that did were completely different colours, one yellow and one white. The one painting in the room was completely diagonal. The bed was on wheels so when rolling over in the middle of the night the bed would shift. The blackout curtains had a stopper in between the two, so even when closed there was still a good 1-2 inch gap. When we returned after the concert our keycard would not work, had to go down to reception, find a contact number to help us and then wait 15+ minutes to access our room.
