    Pros: The hotel is beautifully situated in a pittoreske old mountain village It was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The rooms the self are simple but have everything that is needed and was the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in so far. The host is very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. When my car did not fit through that last gap (remember, this is an old village that was built long before cars were invented) she immediately showed me a suitable parking spot close to the hotel. All in all a hotel I would recommend to anyone!

    Quiet place in the old village in the mountains.

    Pros: I was absolutely satisfied. The location of the guest house is in a calm and nice place in the beautiful village in the mountains. The lady is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, served at the place with breathtaking view, is rich and typical of the region. Thank you very much! I will be pleased to come again, for more nights.

    Cons: Only thing maybe other people go through, if you have a big car, you may have difficulty to pass some small street road to reach the parking.

    Pros: My host was friendly and helpful: she came and made me dinner when it turned out that the only restaurant in the village was closed.
    Cons: A difficult and stressful drive through the village to get to the house, even in a small car.

    Great place with a few small issues

    Pros: The owner of this small hotel is very friendly, she left a kind note for us, as we arrived a bit later than planned. The room including the bathroom was nice and spacious, furnished with atmospheric solid wood furniture. Of course the balcony with the nice view of the valley is the highlight. Estamariu itself is a beautiful picturesque village high above the valley, with many interesting historical sights (don't miss the Romanesque painted church). 15 minutes to Seu d'Urgell and under one hour to Andorra.
    Cons: Indeed, like others describe, the road in the village itself is very narrow. We decided after the first time of squeezing through the tiny pathways to park at the village entrance, at 5 minute walk. Not ideal but also not a real problem. A bit more annoying was that we in vain hoped for peaceful, silent evenings overlooking the valley. Instead there were groups of bikers and offroaders who occupied the downstairs tables and talked and shouted very loudly, which of course destroyed any chance of relaxing especially on our first evening. Not the hotel's fault, but not helping either, even if it stopped towards 22.30/23.00. The in other reviews much applauded breakfast was good, but admittedly not extremely special. Tomato bread, cheese and chorizo, all of good quality and theoretically as much as we asked for, but those we got at other accommodations as well.
