Pros: Incredible setting lots and lots charming features set to the relaxing sound track of the river alongside. Lovely staff and superb breakfast. Unfortunately on this occasion we didnt get to try the restaurant but I have every confidence that it would be worth coming back for.

Pros: Its a beautiful property, the location and grounds are lovely. We stayed here before about 4 years ago and loved it.

Cons: Dinner menu was drastically reduced compared to our last stay? No tasting menu. Food was OK I guess. Restaurant was very quiet..compared to our last visit. Rooms are nice enough, the balcony is dark and a bit grim In cloudy weather. The notice on the coffee station statesnothing is placed in the room without thought or consideration Im paraphrasing. But to boil the kettle for coffee..you had to locate a socket close enough to the floor as the lead is so short?! Not good placement. Honestly, nothing was really luxurious in the room. Shower control was outside the shower/wet room..odd! (Apparently this room has been refurbished) Breakfast we had in the room, coffee was cold on arrival, the bread had been heated in an oven I think so it was a bit hard as it cooled. It was all just OK, not amazing as I remembered it. Staff I met are lovely, helpful and pleasant. A major asset to the hotel. Would I stay again..not sure TBH.

Pros: Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. We arrived a little for lunch but they found room for us and had a delicious meal. We had our lively young dog and our 4 year old with us and the staff could not have been more attentive. Fabulous venue, beautiful setting and incredible food. Highly recommended

The best hotel ever!

Pros: The best hotel we've ever stayed in. Everything about it was perfect - the location, the pool, the tennis court, the staff, the restaurant.

Everything wonderful - if it were not for the turnover of booking fees

Pros: The stay at the mill is a time out with all the amenities: beautiful locality, both rooms and the catering area and the garden with pool. Professional, attentive service and fine food. However, the menu is not changed (frequently), at least not within the 4 days of my stay. Since the selection is not very large, this is a small drawback.

Cons: Booking fees are passed on to the guest. Per day a whopping 40 euros are charged - not applicable when booking directly! Very annoying to simply roll over the costs to the guest - of course without being informed beforehand!
