Pros: We liked the old-fashioned lift in the building. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There was also luggage storage facility before and after checkin/out.

Pros: The location.

Cons: I complained that my door was kicked in and they didn't give me another room. The receptionist said it was an accident. When I went upstairs to the bedroom, it was a loft style. The curtains and the rod were off the window. I had to rig them up so anyone couldn't see in. It looks as though there was some altercation in my room the previous night, and the hotel didn't care enough for me to get a better room.

Cons: The staff didn't tell me about the hotel tours, what's close by nothing. The room temperature isn't adjustable. It's pre programmed.

Cons: the hotel is a living museum, the pipes make a lot of noise, so much so that they wake you up at night and it seems that at any moment something is going to come out of the toilet. It wants to appear to be a rustic hotel, but it is really refurbished and has poor finishes. the cleaning staff was totally disrespectful checking my suitcase, throwing things out of my bags because there were papers, and checking my bills that were even mixed with money. She even took pictures of my things and shared them with the hotel's whatsapp group. Supposedly they only came in to make the bed and take papers from the bathroom, but after going through my belongings she forgot to clean the bathroom trash can. After complaining to the girl from the afternoon staff, that on top of that they hadn't even left me a towel, I asked that they not enter my room, and the girl from the staff came in while I was outside, and told me that she had gone to check if I had a towel. I have been traveling the world for 18 years, I have stayed in countless hotels. Never in my life had something like this happened to me. I have felt outraged. Even if it is the only hotel available, I would never go back to this hotel.

Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and the location is great. Fantastic shower! The property has some beautiful colonial features.

Cons: The hotel is in an old building, so except very low sound isolation, if any. For a boutique hotel as they say, they dont provide any soap/shampoo. Give you a plastic one use cup for your toothbrush. The cleaning was ok, room to improve. The rooms needs just a fresh paint, as you can see that it has been used for a while.
