Not exactly’central’

Pros: The positives are that the hotel is easily accessible by car snd there is plenty of free parking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb, about as good as a hotel breakfast can be.

Cons: Perhaps my expectations were too high but I expected more from a 4 star hotel. The room was very basic, just a bed and a tiny desk. A small wardrobe but nowhere to store luggage or hang coats - not even a hook on the back of the door so I had to hang my wet raincoat on the TV. The tea tray was bizarre - 1 water ( in a room for 2 people) 2 teabags and 2 tiny toffees. Not exactly the 4 star luxury experience I was expecting. The room was hot and the air conditioning pretty ineffective- we couldn’t sleep with the windows open due to the traffic noise. The location is not great - it really shouldn’t be advertised as ‘central’ as it’s about a mile and a half out of town and it’s not a very pleasant walk along a main road. The no 5 bus stops just outside the hotel but doesn’t run in the evening so you will need to get a taxi back to the hotel if eating out in the evening.

Pros: Parking was free and plenty of it. Room with balcony.

Cons: No coffee in room, asked at reception and was told never in rooms, you have to buy a coffee at the bar. Strange for France as a country of coffee lovers. Not a good selection on tea tray. Good for a nights stay

Pros: Parking was free and plenty of it. Room with balcony.

Cons: No coffee in room, asked at reception and was told never in rooms, you have to buy a coffee at the bar. Strange for France as a country of coffee lovers. Not a good selection on tea tray. Good location to explore Vannes about a 20 minute walk into the town

Pros: Clean and with secure parking and great breakfasts

Cons: Did not have a restaurant but plenty of restaurants within about 20 - 25 minute walk

Perfect for a short stay in Vannes. Staff helpful, and the hotel and bedrooms smart and clean. Comfortable bed and excel

Pros: Modern, clean and friendly staff. Parking excellent. 20 minute or so walk into the centre of Vannes.

Cons: Nothing stands out.

Close to major road junction and railway line, take ear defenders if you enjoy a good nights sleep

Pros: The room was very clean and basic , modern and practical JUST, we appeared to be one of three rooms booked for the the first evening we arrived, we thought odd, but read on and may see why

Cons: A "PRESTIGE" hotel without a small fridge in the room or room safe in an area where they have the car park locked down at night? Although we had a great large balcony the step up to get out and worse still the step down to get back into the room we felt was too high for most especially when carrying drinks, it needs a step. Although the two receptionist we had dealings with were very nice english was very limited, in this day and age why don't hotels have I pads with translator apps installed on them. Also the photos of the hotel don't show the main high speed railway line that runs alongside the rear of the hotel, guess about twenty yards from the hotel entrance, the other side of the hotel a major road junction with emergency service sirens blaring out most of the day into the night. Also the walk into Vannes centre outskirts was twenty minutes plus

Good hotel situated just outside Vannes centre

Pros: Lovely friendly, and welcoming staff. Breakfast was good, although primarily continental choices, hot food a little limited. Accommodation was very clean.

Cons: Located a little outside the city centre, around a 20 min walk. Gym facilities limited.
