European prices but not standards

Pros: Nice estate close to town. Amazing gardens and buildings. Staff super helpful and attentive.

Cons: Property is tired. Some exposed electrics in the rooms. Poor soundproofing.

Cons: The room was infact wet due to the moist. Its kind of watery on the floor. Also, though the food what is served was good in taste it is sort of monotonous. Most of the food what is served was a typical Malayali food by and large. It could have been bit more tourist friendly with more varieties with fusion taste. It can also consider to provide orthodox Kerala dishes as desert which would give other state tourist to know more about Kerala traditional specialities.

Other than lovely helpful staff , the hotel did not live up to expectations.

Cons: Bedroom were full of old items . Felt scruffy & , bedrooms felt un loved , with tired decor, many broken items in rooms including lamps, cracked tiles , dirty curtains, sheets were old, worn & bobbly. No hair conditioner . Gym was not open / under renovation - but was still advertised as open on website . Well being / massage was also shut . I was only told the massage rooms were shut when I tried to book a treatment a few days before arrival. Hotel description was misleading.

Pros: Friendly staff, location and view from the balcony.

Best avoid if you do not want to be ripped off-quite literally.

Pros: Location is the only redeeming feature if you like the property to be cetntrally located in the town.

Cons: My clothes (5 vests at that) got stolen from the room. A trifling matter in value. Tried to locate the hosue keeping manager for two days. Was told his name is Mr Ibrahim. Tried contacting the GM of the property, told one Mr Shine. Tried for two days, but the gentlemen were never there in the property. Being Government owned property, they come and go , it seems as they please. Immediately, on discovering the missing clothes, contacted the front office. The duty manager Mr Abhilash was receptive and assured he will take it up and try find out. But two days no one, leave apart an apology , bothered even with a feedback. Perhaps such incidents are way above Mr Abhilashs pay grade and way below the Manager folks status to bother. Permanent Government job after all. For two days one was stressed out and only locking all the belongings before leaving the room for any sight seeing. Not a very pleasant touristy experience. The fact that rooms are decently sized and the location is good gets sullied by such callous mismanagement and indifference.

Pros: Lovely stay in the middle of tea estates by Kerala Tourism. Beautiful views and several view points within walking distances. We loved taking an evening walk despite having our transport to be in the serene nature.

Stay was pleasant- breakfast fast was ok.

Pros: Property was situated in a nice place and maintained well outside.

Cons: Room cleaning supervision lacking, car parking not covered and too far . ( security available) Need alter or think better way for parking.

In overall a very nice located hotel with nice views, but with terrible staff service

Pros: The positive of this place is it's location and the scenic views from the rooms.

Cons: Very poor service from the staff members and the worst experience at the reception while trying to settle the bills. Looked quite immature and a 'No care' attitude from the staff at the reception.
