    Pros: Staff were really friendly and helpful when I had difficulty with my room. That's what made me feel safe staying there after not feeling very safe when my door didn't lock.
    Cons: Door to my room didn't lock. When they moved me to another room, it was missing a bolt. Might just be because of the renovations that were happening, but you should call ahead and make sure the room will be ready and secure. Also because of the renovations, there wasn't any coffee or breakfast available, and it all felt a little under construction - I think there should have been a public notice on this site or a discount while they get the wrinkles out.

    Pros: I travel frequently to Waretown and Manahawkin for business and I like the fact the this small hotel is tucked away behind a plaza.
    Cons: A little more lighting around the property at night.

    Welcoming, quiet and clean accommodations...

    Pros: This inn is cute and cozy with beachy vibes. The staff were kind and welcoming, the room was clean and I found the environment to be calm and quiet. Slightly nestled off the main road and only a few minutes away from a grocery store, some restaurants and less than 30 minutes from Long Beach Island.

    Good location and price for...

    Pros: Good location and price for visiting the shore in the off season. Conveniently next to a great pizza place.
    Cons: Although luckily the wife and kids didn't get any, I got about a dozen bed bug bites over two nights. Lasted about a week. Room seemed clean and would not have expected any issues and don't fault the hotel, other more pricey places get them, it happens (just never happened to me before despite staying in hotels several times a year for many years, but I consider myself lucky). Management was reluctant to believe it at first and asked for photos which we provided (their response should have said "so sorry that happened" instead of "weird no one else got them" or "why weren't there more bites?") They also should have comped one of the nights and we probably would have stayed here again. They did say they tossed the mattress and called an exterminator so that is good. If it was a major infestation I think the results would have been worse. Room and grounds all seemed clean and had no other issues.

    Pros: Just comfortable, , back from the road so it's quiet. Nice size rooms, very kind staff.
    Cons: Just one issue - the rooms are on the dark side. Despite two lamps and a bright bathroom, the rooms are dark unless the curtains stay open. It's minor, very minor considering everything else is tops!
