Pros: Very friendly staff !

Disappointing

Cons: We decided to spend our vacation in this four-star hotel after reading reviews on Booking.com. Unfortunately, after spending seven nights here, I feel compelled to write an unfavorable review. Firstly, in our room, the towels were changed daily, but they were gray and some even had holes. A safe, which should be a standard amenity in a four-star hotel, came with an additional fee. There were no slippers or hair and body products provided; you had to request them. The bed was very small and uncomfortable, and the available pillows were simply inadequate. The food quality was exceptionally poor, and breakfasts were the same every day. While the dinners might have varied slightly, one would expect more from a four-star hotel. The cutlery in the restaurant was subpar, tarnished, and often dirty. As for pool towels, they were available for an extra charge. The staff was friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant service. Unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired. These minor issues added up to a negative impression, and we found ourselves spending as little time as possible at the hotel.

Not your typical 'all inclusive' but nice and friendly

Pros: It's a cosy, small hotel very close to a quiet but beautiful beach. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, Klelia is a good place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Generally, the atmosphere is nice.

Cons: Facilities for young children - apart from a small paddling pool, there are none. It would be great if they had some slides, or splashy things and some entertainment, especially in the evening when the pool is closed. The rooms are very basic, I'd call them 'Spartan'. Would be helpful to have some furniture with drawers but more importantly- some washing lines on the balcony to dry swimming suits. Our room was quite run down with some broken furniture which is unsafe for young children.

Pros: food and drink- quality very good and varied top marks to the bar, restaurant and kitchen staff nothing was to much trouble to the staff - from the ladies who cleaned the rooms , the maintenance men and the staff on the reception --- Thank you all

Cons: the fact that guests in wet swim ware were sitting in upholstered chairs and not worrying that the next person to sit in that chair would end up with wet clothes !!!!! needs a sign to say no wet swim ware in restaurant in SEVERAL LANGUAGES as plastic seating was available in covered outside dining area so no excuse. Hotel was fine - rude and badly mannered guests not so !!!!!

Pros: I was travelling with my husband and our little 10months son. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay in Klelia Beach Hotel, though we were worried to go for a vacation with this small baby. First of all, the Receptionist Depy was amazing, so professional, so friendly, she made us feel like at home! She gave a lot of useful advices and gave a lot of attention to our little boy, who loved to come over. Thank you, Depy! Second, the stuff was always so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our food, which was amazing, simply wow, the variety of food and beverages made our stay full, and our bodies heavier The Lifeguard Manolia was always there on her duties, so all parents where calm about their children and their safety! The beach is like 3min away, it was very comfortable to go there and back to the hotel. Also, the entartainment in the evenings was very nice, especially the greek night. about cleaning: cleaning ladies where very friendly and cleaned daily, so honestly saying I was very happy about the service they hve provided! Pros: One advice for everybody who need a honest review:please,do not take in consideration the negative reviews.I will start by saying that from de beggining I have read all the reviews and at first I was confused by such contradictory opinions,but one thing it was clear for everybody: the food is very tasty and various.Reading this for me it was enough to book the place, thinking that if everybody agreed on the good quality food,that means respect to their clients and all the rest is not neccessary so important.And I was right indeed. I cannot find anything bad to say about Klelia,we have only nice memories there.On our arival we have found a bottle of local white wine(quite good!) in our room with a nice hand writing welcome message The room was confortable for all 3 of us,the bathroom has enough space,the towals were changed everyday,AC was working properly,the food was very very tasty! Always fresh drinks,beer,etc( ananas is the best).There is a big pool with clean water,but we did not use it because the beach is just 2- 3 minutes walk.( one of the best beaches from Zakynthos,people are coming from other places for it).We even saw the little turtle Caretta one morning.The personel is very friendly at the hotel as well. 4 days/week there is evening entertainment: greek night,latino night, karaoke etc.We have danced toghther having such a nice time and we do not feel the need to go to Laganas for more. Everything you need,you just need to ask and they will help you. In a nutshell,I saw at the Klelia only happy people with happy faces-I still dont understand from where and why are the negative reviews came from

Pros: Lovely building, pool area. We had a private pool apartment on the ground floor and a roof top apartment with a outdoor bath. Both was amazing Staff was quiet but friendly Depy was on the reception desk was friendly and extremely helpful

Pros: The restaurant staff were polite and friendly. Close to many shops, local restaurants and the beach but the surrounding area was derelict, with abandoned buildings and rubbish heaps next to and opposite the hotel.

Cons: . Cockroach infested room (in bathroom, private pool, bedroom, in wardrobe) as well as cockroach poos over surfaces. Reception staff said issue would be dealt with but no pest control ever arrived. When confronted, they claimed the issue had been fixed, however cockroaches were still in our room . Forced to stay in the room as we could not be moved, had to pay out of pocket to stay in a hotel down the road . Room not cleaned thoroughly, stained sheets given throughout stay . Pool stained clothes green . Room was unfinished and under maintained, exposed wires and holes in walls, no handle on bathroom door . Food quality pictured is miles away from what is actually served up. They claim to clean the pool and have pest control but the reality is that their procedures simply do not work.

Cons: They say its a 4* hotel, but the conditions are of a 2* hotel. The bathroom towels that we received everyday had a terrible smell. The food was terrible and when I complained about it, considering I am pregnant, the staff told me to eat rice and fruits. All the juices and cocktails had such a low quality. They say that they provide pool towels, but only if you pay for them, although it s an all inclusive hotel. The pool shower was an improvisation that you dont find even at a 2* hotel. See picture. When I complained about all this, they tried to change our room with a luxury one according to them, but the room was at the basement and had a terrible smell of mold. Also, another shocking thing for me was when I went to ask for shower gel, because the cleaning lady forgot to give us, the reception lady gave us one piece, and when I told her that we are 2 persons and we need 2 she told me that she need to keep it for the others. In conclusion, go to this hotel only if you want to ruin your holiday, like we did.

I will not return to Klelia Hotel. Our friends got better value for money at Phoenix Hotel.

Pros: The only positive I could possibly mention is the quality of the employees. They were always helpful, kind and pleasant and we enjoyed being around them.

Cons: There are many aspects which are in dire need of improvement. The food was an utter disappointment, with no variety, no taste and no sight of the delicious Greek cuisine. The cooking staff could not even make an omelette taste nicely, so we had to eat out. In terms of the facility, the rooms are in desperate need of updating and upgrading, the property has a tired and dated look and feel with the pictures probably reflecting a reality of 15 years ago. Our room had an exterior hot tub which was in such a state of degrading, with cracks all over the surface, so we never used it. Some maintenance issues could also be observed, like our bathroom door not closing. The air conditioning units are located poorly with the air landing straight on the bed, so one cannot sleep with the aircon on and would eventually wake up because of the heat. The pool area is much smaller in reality than the pictures shown on the site. The wi-fi is extremely poor throughout the property, with connectivity being really low. The toiletries offered are really just a poor quality shower gel and a liquid hand soap. There was no shampoo, no body lotion, shower cap, bathroom slippers or any other daily necessities.
