Good budget hotel that is...

Pros: For the type of hotel it is, it was good. It was clean which is important to me. I forgot my flip flops which I usually use as slippers in hotels and my feet didn't get dirty. The floor felt pretty clean. The bed was comfortable to my daughter and me and the sheets seemed clean. The shower was clean. The bathroom was small but it was fine and worked for us. The area to wash your hands is outside of the part with the toilet and shower which is good because it gives a little more room and someone can use the mirror while someone else is taking a shower/using the toilet. I liked that we could open the widow by the bathroom and let some air in. The area by the hotel was decent. It is near a bunch of other hotels. The freeway is right near the hotel but the windows seem pretty good because I didn't really hear the freeway much in the night and was able to sleep. Of course, that was with the windows shut. lol The breakfast place in the hotel is extra money but worth it because it's really good food for the price. They gave a 10% discount for hotel guests.

Cons: I didn't like having to pay $15 a day for parking. Also, I didn't like that the person at the front desk couldn't give me toilet paper, tissue or towels when we ran out in our room. We were going out for the day and I asked for those things. The person at the front desk informed me that we would have to be back by 10:30 PM if we wanted those items. So I had to rush and stress to get back before that time which isn't fun on vacation. I made it back and it was fine but I just wish either the front desk could give out the items or they have someone who can do it at any time. At all other hotels I have stayed at there usually is either someone who can bring these type of items any time or the front desk gives them out. This is just a suggestion. It would really help.

Pros: Great location and centrally located. Beautiful pool and pool area.

Cons: The room angle, as soon as you walked in you ran into the bathroom sink. The mattress is not comfortable and hard. I would not be able to stay more then 1 day.

Pros: I like to rate on what they are trying to be. It’s great for what it is. Cozy, clean, plenty of amenities (small gym, laundry, fridge in room, microwaves available with inquiry). Nice staff, and to be honest, with the paid parking it feels safer.

Pros: Parking is close to room. Restaurant, pool, ice maker. June was very nice.

Cons: Alex and Veronica didn’t have a pleasant tone. Also their attire looked unprofessional. One of them was wearing a spaghetti strap and they didn’t look up to par at all. The people directly above us were stomping the whole night. We come here 3x a year and I’m not sure if I want to come back.

Pros: The location was great it took no long then 15 minutes to travel where we were going. Old town was down the street.

Handy to Old Town, but...

Pros: Location was handy to Old Town.

Cons: I booked through Booking.com (obviously) and had booked an accessible room on the ground floor as I had just had major abdominal surgery. When I arrived, they advised that my room was upstairs. Luckily, they happened to have a ground floor room available, but it turns out if you book one through Booking.com, it doesn't mean anything. A lot of non-guests loiter around the car park and pool, smoking weed and yelling at all hours of the night. I had one of them trying to get into my room at 4am one night, which was very unnerving as a solo traveler. The walls are paper thin, so I heard my neighbours snoring. The bed was incredibly loud! I couldn't take a deep breath without it creaking loudly. It kept waking me up in the night. It also took nearly a month to get my deposit back, despite being advertised as being returned within a few days. I stayed at multiple hotels during my time in the States, and they were all able to release my funds to my Visa within 2 days, so I'm not sure what the holdup was here.
