NOT Expect any IBIS standards. Zero Customer service. Not worth !

Pros: If you awaiting here IBIS Standards , then you are absolutely in a wrong place , this Hotel , staff, are absolutely not this what you get in any other IBIS hotels. We are traveling a lot and mostly choosing IBIS, cause usual you can't go wrong . Except your are landed at Kata, the staff here is absolutely overloaded with work , they have zero customer service and no idea what's going on in them small tiny hotel . We arrived with 10 month all baby , reception told us they have no rooms free , they don't know , we showed them on the internet there is a room free , Answer ; no there is not . 2 min later infront of them i booked it , and reception ; oh yes we can see it , They let us wait , 2 hours to give us a wrong room , after e checked in I went to reception told them is the wrong room , and she can give me the right one , I just need to come with all luggage,baby , key card back to reception . I adked if we could get help ; No , We don't have a bellboy and I could not give the key to the cleaning staff. This is not a kind of service which you expecting in a IBIS hotel , the rooms are super small , thos Reception hall is more like a train station , and the pool is just a bit bigger as a bathtube. With 12 sunbeds in total around . There is no chance to relax even 1 minute , and even if you would catch a sunbed , no Staff to serve you , no one intrested in you as a guest. Recommendation; Stay away , it's not even 50% of the money worth .

Cons: I felt the hotel only catered for the Russian people. apart from the cleaning staff,the rest of them didn't give you the time of day.the breakfast wasn't nice.

Pros: Nice room for one. Glassy doors in the shower help to keep the floor near the toilet dry.

Cons: The condition does not dry. All 7 days - 84% of humidity - it is not good.

Clean but very small room, not a great feeling but good location, low price so not a bad deal.

Pros: - clean - location - low price for the room - Overall pretty good value because the price was low.

Cons: - Major constructions next to Ibis, building a new hotel so it will take a long time. Starts at 8am every day. - Animal noises at night, disturbed my sleep. - Very small room.

Pros: Very clean and convenient, spacious downstairs and easy to pop into the pool on your way home. Also the eating area for breakfast buffet is air conditioned.

Cons: Theres not much sound insulation so if you have noisy neighbours youll hear them and I was woken every morning at least a couple times. Also, I had a gold and diamond ring go missing from my makeup bag on the sink, its valuable and I normally always lock everything valuable away but I normally wear it every day and decided last minute not to as I was going snorkelling and didnt want to have to unlock everything to put it with my other stuff, really regretting not being more cautious now.

Pros: Ive stayed here many times over last few years and always happy about clean comfortable rooms, location, friendly staff.

Cons: This time a couple of things changed: 1. The cleaning agent or chemical they use burns my nose. I probably have an over sensitive nose, but the smell is just too strong. 2. A new outside bar opened up next to the hotel that blasts the music with a screaming MC. I know may be out of control of Ibis but if you are looking for quiet and peaceful sleep it might be difficult. Lastly there are no desks in the room to do work. The lobby has plenty of space and work area but the mosquitoes are waiting to devour us. There should be some type of mosquitoes control in the lobby at least near the work area.
