Pros: Close walk to the beach.

Cons: Everything was not as advertised. Old and tired, Beds are terrible, room was 1 star at best, loud every night with parties and traffic sounded like it was right in the room. We booked for 7 nights and left after 5.

Cons: We booked last minute and were clearly in an overflow room in the back corner. No hot water at all, really uncomfortable beds. The WiFi was non functional. we arrived at 2:50 and wouldnt let us in room until 3:00 check in time. Way overpriced for the type of room.

Pros: Great location and excellent, helpful and informative staff, some of whom had very good English. The Included breakfast was made to order and delicious (though sadly the coffee was a bit weak). This place is just a few steps from the waterfront.

Pros: Very lovely staff. Enjoyed the included breakfast and the choices provided. Great location, lovely pool and rooftop restaurant with a view.

Cons: I was disappointed that the guests here were not allowed to use the staircase to the beach at the co- managed hotel across the street. I stayed at the ZihuaCaracol 6 years ago and that was why I chose to return. Previously we had access to the staircase, as a single woman traveling it was a safer way to reach the beach. The main access near another hotel often had inebriated males hanging around. I didn't enjoy walking through them to get to the beach.

Cons: Could use some upgrading, everything is old. Beds/pillows not very comfortable. Fan in addition to AC would be nice. Window screens would be nice as the mosquitoes were pretty bad.

Pros: Super friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Room was large. Beds and pillows were good for Mexico standards. Clean place. Pool area was nice and usually quite during the week. Weekends were busier when locals came but they were quite by 10 pm. If you tip your maid everyday (like you should) you got extra little special details.

Cons: Owner has a big dog (rotti I believe) that he lets roam in the back enclosed area (security reasons I am thinking) at night but the dang thing barks a lot and upset most of the guests. Other then the dog issue its a great little hotel to rest your head.

Pros: We really enjoyed the variety of different options for breakfast and the service was excellent and so was the food.

Cons: We would have appreciated a fan in Room 00 Sun and Moon in the lilving/kitchen area.... the bedroom/bathroom was just great withe the A/C.

Cons: I sent a note to property requesting early check-in. They indicated yes if room was available. I arrived 3 hours ahead at which time I checked-in but they said my room was not ready. But they said feel free to use facilities....so I did and had a look around including finding that maid had just finished my room. All ready complete with goose towel on bed. Back to front desk to let them know my room was ready only to find that this isnt our policy ? Excuse me you said I could check in early if room ready and its ready....oh but thats not our policy , you can leave your bags here at desk.......I noticed the manager, this rude lady apppeared to give me the DONT talk to me hand when I tried to talk to her. She mentioned something to desk clerk before disappearing in her office. At this point clerk turns to me and says senior we will try to accommodate you .....oh ok.......20 minutes go by with me staring at this guy. So sir is everything ok? Can I go up?...excuse me senior ? What do you mean?....can I have the key to my room? ....o no senior you have to wait until 3. ...what you said you were going to accommodate me, why did you make me wait ? O the manager she says no So there we sat by pool , myself a family and another couple for 3 hours before they handed us keys even though all our rooms were ready. In that time we may have seen 10 people in this very tired hotel.manager is confrontational rude and hostile . Go to Irma across street. Dont waste your time.

Amazing location

Pros: The staff are so amazing and accommodating. We arrived too early for check in and they stored our bags and gave us an area to change into beachwear. The breakfast every morning was delicious! In the 8 days we were here we only ate breakfast off property once. The rooms are clean with great views!

Cons: The beds are hard and the rooms could use a little deep cleaning, the curtains needed a good washing. But the bed linens were changed daily and clean. The dinner restaurant at the hotel was just ok. There are a lot of better food options very close.

Cons: Rooms are very outdated. No safe in the room or deadbolt on the room door, but did not encounter any security concerns. Bathroom was very elementary, had 2 cold showers over 2 days. Tiles were not clean.
