Cons: Bed and pillows weren't very comfortable. No food or drink are available. They have full kitchens in the suites so not an issue if you prepare.

Pros: One staff member (lady) was very helpful in giving directions on getting to the municipal wharf. Pool was very nice.

Cons: No one at reception upon arrival. Had to ring bell. Still no one came. Finally called by telephone to an off site office. Room was poorly furnished and wall lamp hanging. A large breaker box (presumably for the pool) was inside the room. This hotel is more than 4 miles from La Ropa Beach. Don't book the standard room.

Cons: Internet connection did not work mostly. A restaurant or bar at the property location would be great as the accessibility of the place by waking was really difficult. About 200 stairs in hot humid weather is not easy to do. Did not like Noise from the pool also.

Pros: The view of Bay of Zihua is beautiful, as well as its location to downtown & other amenities. We love the open layout of the room & the clear glass windows. The pool overlooking the ocean is greatly set-up, the landscaping is well done and well maintained. The staff were friendly, hardworking and kept the place clean and tidy. They provided everything we needed.

Cons: The hotel is old and needs to upgrade their kitchen facilities, there's not enough space to prepare food, the hot plate takes at least 5-10 minutes to heat up, the tiles on top counter are broken and needs to be replaced, the bathroom plumbing is really stinky and has bad/musky odor coming from the sewer system. We had to cover bathroom water drainage 99% of the time to prevent the smell from coming out, even the bathroom sink really smells bad! The electrical outlet needs to be upgraded too, some outlets don't even work. We stayed in 3 different rooms over 62 days during the month of March & April and so we could compare one room from the others. There were a lot of times that we wanted to go and leave due to the bad stinky sewer plumbing problems but we stayed coz we already paid for everything and It's very expensive! We reported these issues to staff but they only fixed the sink drainage and told us to put a cover on the outlet & close the bathroom doors to prevent the odor from going thru the whole room.

Cons: I liked the location as I got a lot of opportunity to walk up and down to the main town. Great exercise. Other may not like the hill claiming.

Pros: love the grounds,pool area.didnt have hot water 3 days,no apology or adjustment.lady not very caring. stayed there previously,think need more effort to guests in&out of lobby. Also went to Wyndham for ideas of things to do.might offer more suggestions at El Morro.

The view and pool area are the draws, the location with the increased prices, not so great.

Pros: The view, the size of the accommodation, the cleanliness and the pool area. A new bar down the road that serves some food. Combi service into town and Ixtapa. New lounges and umbrellas.

Cons: Price has gone up considerably from last year. Minimal kitchen equipment .Electric burners in the kitchen do not get hot enough to fry anything, have been like this for a few years. Place is getting more tired looking, less staff, new owners apparently. Nobody there after 4 or 5pm. Pool while clean, really needs painting.
