Pros: We liked the breakfast most because the parties were good and the coffee was excellent. They make the coffee fresh at the bar so it was much better than the machines we were used to at other hotels. Rooms were nicely renovated.

Pros: V central location and late check in availability. Room was comfortable and shower was v good. Breakfast had good selection and coffee was was great

Pros: Very good location. Garibaldi Central Station is 100m from the hotel and you can use the metro and trains. Regarding the hotel the reception area was beautiful and the reception staff very pleasant. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was very good and value for money. For the room I can only say about the beds which were comfortable and the bathroom which was in very good condition and renovated.

Cons: The room is negatively far from the photos. It is not clean and neat. The walls are stained, the floor looks dirty, The window all around has mold from the humidity. Also the door to the room had a normal key and if you didn't lock the door it wouldn't close. Regarding the restaurant, the chairs need to be changed and the staff needs to be more polite.

Pros: Reception area lookis nice. Breakfast was ok and bed was comfortable.

Cons: Location is close to a bad area of Naples. Lots of bums and dirt. Breakfast was ok. Doors don't have locks on the inside so I didn't feel secure. Very dusty and ac barely worked.

Incompetent staff

Pros: location. Clean and reasonably comfortable

Cons: Utterly incompetent hotel when it came to making payment, Like a lot of places in Italy would not accept Amex so tried nominating a foreign exchange card. This was declined because the way they processed the card required a PIN (I was in the UK and not at the hotel at that point) So ended up reserving with my UK debit card. Got to the hotel and they said no problem using the foreign exchange card but they billed my debit card as well. Complete set of cowboys. Don't do here

Exceptional

Pros: Very good location, nice restaurants around hotel. Good breakfast, highly recommended. We had excellent time with family.

Perfect

Pros: It was close to public transportation and the main train station.

Cons: We had ants in our room and it was not 4 star experience in my mind. Black mold on the door and the shower drain was filthy.

Poor staff handling of their mistake spoilt the whole experience

Pros: We enjoyed the breakfast but it was quite basic . Coffee was nice and freshly made to order. Dinner on the first evening was ok and it was nice to eat in the hotel after a long day of travel.

Cons: When we checked in we were given a slip of paper confirming 2 nights evening meals for Tuesday and Wednesday evening. On Wednesday evening we arrived at the dining room to find it was closed. The staff on reception informed us that it did not open on Wednesday evenings. We informed them that we had booked half board and there was nothing on their website about this, and no-one mentioned it when we checked in. We had booked half board because one of us has poor mobility and we did not want to walk about too much. There was no apology and very little empathy and after a phone call we were told they had arranged that we could go to another restaurant to have our meal. Although some but not all of the food was nice we waited one hour between courses - the second course looked as though it had been thrown on the plate. If we had known that evening meals were not available on Wednesdays we would have booked a different hotel

Cons: Definitely not a 4 star hotel! *Not soundsproof at all, was situated on 4th floor but could hear the traffic late at night and the airplanes are crazy close to the city, also heard everything from the corridor, neighbours slamming the door, house cleaning, felt like a hostel. * No kettle with tea or coffee and mini-fridge was empty (which was filled in the pictures of my superior double room). *Pictures of the room did not match the reality. Rooms were very rigid looking with no paintings or decoration, just bare walls. *Big rainshower was broke too, too much limescale and lack off cleaning. It did not light up in purple either. *My AC started to drip water down the desk and on the minifridge so I had to take out the outlet for the fridge. I left a request via Booking.com that it's for my birthday and I would appreciate a good room. Previous hotel in Amalfi for the night before my birthday, (B&B Palazza Pisani, highly recommend) managed to accomodate and even upgraded us to higher floor and room type with bathtub. I think this hotel ignored my note totally since they didn't comment it on check-in and I didn't bother either. *Keys worked to open another guests room and another guest also opened my rooms door. Pretty scary. The keys and keyholes are so worn out so it happens after a while that it's possible to open any other door. This hotel has some upgrade to do to earn their stars. Bonus: Sketchy, dirty area, not clean, taxi drivers drive insane and roads are not good. Will not return to either Naples or here.

Pros: They had AC and relatively clean

Cons: Its old, very bare bones hotel. The beds are uncomfortable, the furniture is dated and staff are a bit weird (though the two in the afternoon were great and very sociable). The location has a lot of drifters and wanderers as its near the central station so solo female travelers beware. It is located relatively near the airport bus which is handy, but if I were to go back to Napoli, Id look elsewhere (Santa Lucia area)
