Pros: The room is spacious, and so is the bathroom with a bathtub. The bed is wide and comfortable. There are a number of restaurants and stores in the area and quite near the central station and other kinds of transportation. The staff are caring and sympathetic as well as empathetic. Train station less than a five minute walk. Easy stroll to historic sites. Also, near the bus station/tram line.

Pros: It was a very average hotel. Comfortable beds

Cons: That the key needed to be plugged in the wall for electricity. However, when you want to lock your door from the inside, it is pitch black and really hard to lock. The shower sprays most of the bathroom, which needed to be mopped up after each use. The window in our room would randomly open, even when it was securely locked?? The breakfast was very limited in options.

Pros: The property was fine, clean and location was ok. The parking is not Included and depending on the price you are willing to pay is how much you need to walk. A 15 minute walk (away from the City center) will get you to a $15/day parking). They were very nice to keep our luggage the day of checkout. Overall it was ok, but the value was not good, it was too pricey for what it is.

Pros: Location is great. Room is big for 4 and clean, beds are comfortable. It's old hotel but very close to attractions.

Cons: No elevator! Narrow stairs. It's old hotel. Breakfast could be better- richer.

Pros: Conveniently located to City center. Parking available in a large covered parking fairly close by. Very clean. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Went the extra mile to be sure we were accommodated. The breakfast was amazing! Fill your own cornetto with a variety of options.

Good location, but cant recommend

Pros: -Location was superb and the best thing about the property. In the heart of Florence city center. Near to many restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, train station and almost all attractions are by walking distance 5-20 minutes except the Michelangelo piazza which was about 40 minutes walk and hike. -One staff (Mr. Chandan) deserves my respect for trying his best to make our stay as pleasant as he could and compensate for the hotels lack of some services. -I have to say the rest of our stay after the 1st night was a little better. -They stored our luggage for no extra charge after checkout (some hotels ask for a charge in Florence ).

Cons: -No kettle or facilities to make coffee/tea until we asked for it. -No isolation in rooms, the first night we spent at a tiny, very noisy room (our neighbors) and toilet door was not moving which they changed on our 2nd night onwards. -Cleanliness isnt the best. -Breakfast is very basic, no variety. For those looking for halal option theres not many. Even the eggs would be mixed with pork contain no meats making even eggs out of the options for breakfast on most days. One of the staff at the breakfast was rude to us when I asked if theres anything they can do for my son who was asking for something not in the buffet. I was disappointed at the way he treated us not that they dont provide anything outside the buffet to be honest. -Tiny rooms and stuffing it to make it a triple room when it really has no space to do so. -The rest of the staff seem not interested in the customers as a whole. -Be ware of extra charges of city tax per person when you stay. -Wi-Fi disconnected frequently, good speed when it works but no continuity. -Mosquitos are a problem. -No lobby to rest and unwind (though most of the hotels in that area are similar) -Electricity sockets are right above the beds in a dangerous location for connecting anything as it falls off easily and unstable to plug in anything. -It was raining when we arrived and the hallway was flooded by rain water that was seeping into our room also making it a very slippery floor. -Rooms have regular keys, didnt feel safe. -Hotel needs an upgrade and facelift in my opinion.

Slept ok, really friendly staff & great loaction

Pros: The location is great, from here you can walk anywhere you would like to visit. The staff is really friendly and helpful and you feel very welcome every time you get back to the hotel.

Cons: The wheather wasn't helping here but it was a bit humid in the building, this meant I had the windows open most of the time (which is great with warmer weather), but in summer this also means mosquitoes - be sure to bring some repellent! The breakfast was maybe a bit lackluster compared to other hotels. The coffee was fantastic though!
