Wonderful

A very well run hotel!

Pros: Wonderful alpine decor with attention to every detail. A great surprise was a 3 course vegan meal at the restaurant. This is a very well run hotel.

Pros: The location was close to slopes, breakfast was good, but every day the same food. The service at the breakfast was very good

Cons: The pictures are far away from the truth . The rooms were old, there were noises from flushing the toilet from the rooms on the other floors. It is a strange smell on the coridors

Very good

Pros: The hotel is really nice! Amazing breakfast and staff, very kind and welcome. Also the restaurant is very good even though we tried it out only once.

Cons: There's one part of the hotel which has gone already under renovation and the other one is quite old. We didn't care about the furniture but very bad smell from the bath pipes.

A big compromise

Pros: Good location, great view over the mountains. 500m away from the nearest ski facility. Rafael from reception is very kind and helpful. Parking.

Cons: The rooms are quite small and amenities are old. The bathroom is very small and uncomfortable. Cleaning of the rooms is not on a good level. The hotel need renovation. The service in the restaurant is not good, you are waiting 20 min. to order and another 20 min. to get the meal.

Very good

Pros: The breakfast quality was quite high, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the spa was a nice option. The central location gave us the opportunity to reach the various ski lifts with ease. The ski deposit was also helpful.

Cons: The breakfast staff was quite lazy. We had to constantly ask for food and beverages that were missing from the buffet. Some room sockets didn't work and in the older part of the hotel, it smelled like mold.

Really good relaxing and enjoyable stay in Livigno

Pros: The breakfast was properly set up in view of the COVID-19 restrictions. The quality and variety of food was pretty good, and the staff was really helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back.

Cons: Nothing extremely serious. Only missing element was the ring-bell at the reception that makes difficult to attract the receptionist attention whenever missing.

Pros: Hotel Valtellina is in an excellent location, its close to the slopes (we were able to ski back to the hotel), close to the bars, restaurants and shops. The bus stop is just outside the hotel too. Our rooms were quite spacious and had balconies. Beds were comfortable and we had good night sleep. Rooms were very clean, room service done, towels changed and toiletries topped up daily. We had bed&breakfast board but had dinner in the hotel restaurant a few evenings too. There are plenty hot and cold options for breakfast. Dinners were just excellent! Veal medallions would be highly recommend! But the biggest asset of this hotel is Roberta and the team! You couldnt ask for better service, nothing was a hassle! Really homey place to stay!
