Most amazing beach! Town area ok. Hotel good location.

Pros: We were so lucky and had room 1020 - it had the largest roof terrace of the entire hotel!! Room very dated and basic but terrace made it worth the money.

Cons: It was a nice hotel but extremely busy at meal times and we were glad we didnt book the meal option - guests were queuing into the lobby!

Good for the money we paid, clean room, close to the beach, decent food on offer.

Pros: The proximity to the beach, good selection of food that was served to us.. however the only minus about the hotel - we couldnt extend our late check out on the day of the departure even though we have asked staff for few days prior to that and were told the will be no problem.. but the day before our last day we were told its not possible due to overbooking. If we were told in time we could of booked an extra room beforehand. Just something for the staff to take on board to let customers know the actual situation and not leaving until last day and hope for the best.

Cons: A bit of consideration to different languages will be a bonus. The picture of the room and contents were different from actual room we got

Cons: Basic room, but that's what we paid for. Queues at breakfast so we ate later.

The public areas downstairs were souless.

Pros: Check in easy, room available early, good sauna - when open, pool good.

Cons: Sauna unavailable one day - disappointing. Bar area not managed very well, tables not cleared or cleaned, bar area sticky, staff went through the motions - need more customer care awareness training. While there was plenty of food, it was rather cold and the layout was confusing not ergonomic in layout of items - a lot of time spent searching for items.

I enjoyed my short stay and would definitely make a return visit.

Pros: Brilliant organisation at mealtimes. Ample food and good range. Fantastic location near the beach for easy access. Appreciated having my car off road in the parking area - didn't need to use the car for the duration of my stay.

Cons: Only concern was the poor sound-proofing between the rooms! I could hear the conversation in the next door room and these were not particularly noisy neighbours ... just an ordinary dialogue. Overall cleanliness was great but the grouting around the bath looked unsightly and needs replacing.

Pros: The location was great, close to the bus station that you can take to/from the port, city center or railway station. The hotel is close to the beach (about two blocks). Breakfast is 8.30 - 11.00 and you can go to the beach before sunrise (7.20 in August) which is the best time to go there and at about 8.30 - 9.00 go back to have breakfast. The beach is clean, and you can go running (about 3 km to the port and another 1 km to the lighthouse) - the best time before sunrise at 6.20. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool with a depth up to 2.1 m. Quite good restaurants nearby.

Cons: The elevators are not well programmed. When they are full and people call them at every floor, instead of going directly it stops at every floor. So during breakfast, lunch or dinner there are queues. The time and date in the elevators are not correct. What absolutely shocked me was when I was in a swimming pool and the staff brought an amplifier the pool's edge with the wheel of extension cable. I warned the staff that electricity cables can't be close to the water that they could kill all people in the swimming pool. But their answer was like: it is what it is. I believe that businesses like hotel must follow the electrical rules in Spain, or am I wrong? This was hazardous. Next, concerning the breakfast didn't seem with too healthy stuff. A lot of fried stuff. In Spain, I would expect jamon serrano but it was not there. Also natural juices, not that synthetic stuff. The peaches were not sweet. Sunny side up eggs were over coocked - solid inside. The fitness and sauna are only open when people go to the beach. The bed's pillow was not comfortable, and I felt my neck. The restaurants open after 20.30 and if you want paella, you have to pre-order it.

This is the second time ive stayed at this hotel with a 3 year gap. The same issues observed the first stay are the same

Pros: The location was perfect and the views of the sea from the balcony. Self checkout facility is excellent! Both a/c and ceiling fan in the room which was really good.

Cons: The room smelled really bad of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was very plentiful but of lower quality produce. There are 9 floors and by the time you call the lifts they are always full when going down so there is no alternative but to take the stairs.
