Cons: Have a situation with my reservation, I booked 2 different reservation. They charged me from the first reservation for the 2 extra nights that I requested and I thought I should have canceled, only to have the surprise that it was no longer reserved.

Pros: Perfect location beside Higashi Shinjuku station. The room was also good size for a solo traveler. The choice of amenities in the lobby was also great! Plenty of coin laundry machines.

Pros: Conveniently located to the golden Gai and the red light district. Close to lots of food options as well as convenience stores and the train station.

Cons: House keeping didnt even take away our used cups and didnt refill the tissue box. All they did was make the bed and empty bins.

Great location and comfortable stay

Pros: we easily got there by airport limo bus (which dropped us at shinjuku station west exit), we then took the subway to higashi shinjuku station. hotel is near subway (higashi shinjuku) station, literally a stone throw away (exit B2) with 2 lines toei oedo and fukotushin which has direct ride to shibuya, harajuku and tsujiki. we arrived very early, the hotel allowed us to put our luggage pending checkin at 3pm. the rooms are small as expected of a Tokyo hotel, older building but clean. we brought 20in and 24in cabin bags and able to store it under the table. there's 2 laundry room (with 2 coin machine each) at 300y per wash and 200-300y for dryer on 2nd & 3rd Flr. there is also a drink vending machine and an ice machine on 9th flr. you can get toiletries (facial wash, oil, lotion), toothbrush, coffee, tea, comb, even mask in sachets at the lobby. checkin (need to get QR code from the front desk first) and checkout using automated machine. there are lots of affordable and good eateries nearby. the attached restaurant (Royal Host) is good too at reasonable price. there's a Lawson just next door and there's family mart, aeon, 7-11, McD nearby. there's a Don Quijote (known as Donki) nearby (turn left after exiting hotel, cross the road, walk straight on (550m, less than 10 mins away) which is open 24 hours. there's yakitori bar where salarymen have their drinks after work nearby (across the road). we are worried about the travel back to the airport (ours' Haneda) as we have doubled our luggages. found that its easier to buy (online) the airport bus tickets for the Tokyo Kabuchiko Tower stop (instead of Shinjuku station which is massive and more complicated to navigate). we took a cab (Taxi Go app), around 1000 from hotel to this bus stop which is just around 5 mins away by car.

Cons: the laundry machine is a bit dated so the clothes is still quite wet after the washer spin dry and the dryer cannot dry the clothes completely (a bit damp) as it is not very hot - ok after we put more longer drying time. some guests dont pick up their wash quickly after it's done. i have to take it out and put it on the waiting chair so others can use it. hope the hotel can put 2 baskets in the laundry room so we can put those washing in pending their owners' late pickup. the room can get too warm at night eventhough i tried adjusting the temp on 16c.

Pros: - The station was right next door!!!... best thing ever! (Picture posted the distance from station to hotel!) - There was convenience stores and restaurants closeby - The safety of needing keys to move up to rooms - Laundry in hotel was awesome - the free amenities helped (we used the tea and coffee mainly) - Friendly staff at front desk

Nice room with great facilities and good train connections

Pros: In a great location within walking distance of a few metro stations that allow easy access to the whole city as well as convenience stores and restaurants for a bite to eat also within walking distance. Easy self-check-in and out process and friendly, kind staff. Facilities such as vending machines and coin laundry machines were perfect for a longer stay and the provided amenities in the lobby were a great addition. The room was small but cozy for a solo traveller with a comfortable bed and bathroom.

Pros: Location to subway and eateries. Shower pressure.

Cons: Photos do not show how worn the furnishings actually were. Televisions also need to be updated to at least smart tv level as, after a long day taking in the sights you could not watch anything but free to air Japanese television. No streaming. USB input even locked out so could not even watch from your own portable hard drive. Check in was done by complicated automatedcheck in station when staff standing around could have done it quicker. Seems consistent with the brand. Second and last time we will use Fresa hotels. A safe would be nice as well
