    We got a room that hasnt yet been upgraded. The main part of the hotel was a lovely old fashioned Mexico experience.

    Pros: Profesional friendly staff. Great restaurant with good food and service.
    Cons: Bathroom fan extremely loud. Hairdryer didnt work. Rug filthy in our room.

    Staff are all very friendly and take time to talk with you.

    Pros: Our check in was a very easy process. We had Dania, who spoke English VERY well. She was very helpful and answered all our questions. Breakfast was located on site. As Canadians we were not used to some of the mexican foods. They have a buffet on site. The waiters served you as if you were ordering from the menu. They brought food and drinks to the table. Even if you ordered an omlete they would bring the omlete as well as other authentic food to your table to try. The waiters were all very well dressed and friendly
    Cons: Lack of a few English channels. The hotel does need a few touch ups, such as paint and carpeting, but other than that it was a pleasurable stay.

    I will not recommend this place to stay at all. just visit the restaurant and enjoy the beautiful lobby because thats a

    Pros: it has a good restaurant and good lobby
    Cons: the room was outdated, the bathroom door was broke, it wasnt hot water to take a shower. The TV wasnt working properly and the internet ?? never work I call twice to have someone to assist me only once a guy come back and tell me that he will report it to the manager. No solution at all the food at the restaurant was great but it took forever to get it, and it was just 3 tables at that time.

    Pros: rea and food was delicious.
    Cons: when we got there bathroom floor was still wet and slippery. no a/c control was available. the cleaning lady had to get one from another room. extra towels in room would be great.

    Balderrama hotels are definitely the brand to choose if available.

    Pros: Iliana, who checked us in, was the best part of our whole trip. She was so lovely and friendly and accommodating that she has set a new standard for what it means to feel welcomed. Of course our room was fantastic, clean and spacious and the free breakfast was fresh and delicious, as are all Balderrama hotels, but Iliana really put it over the top. Between her and Fanya, in sales who I met on another Balderrama trip, this is for sure the go to for Los Mochis.
    Cons: Truly hospitable, great location, great breakfast, great room.

    Nice hotel-be careful with bills and services

    Pros: Centrally located and everything clean and in good condition
    Cons: The payment was very strange as not the overall amount was charged upon arrival and I had to make another cash payment in the morning, when I only got all my change back when I explicitly asked for it. In addition, we asked for a taxi to the chepe train station and got a kind of private driver (no real taxi) who charged us way more than a usual taxi-not really what we experienced in all the other nice places in Mexico.

    A dionoond at the bottom of a flee kennel

    Pros: the hotel was charming but forgotten . incredible possibilities. needs new serious owner or manager and a clear vision. Good food
    Cons: The young lady at the front desk was more interested in selling side shows than registering me and give me the wifi info. The hotel seemed empty and they sent me to the furthest corner of the second floor where the wifi reception didnt reach. When i called the front desk the young lady just said how weird me and my girlfreind are on the wifi red with no problem and then hung up. No Safe for documents. A daily pressure washing of the side walk would do wonders , because ouside was dirty. Its obvious this place has a an owner who really doesnt care or a un trained manager or just suffering from no money . I was happy to l;eave. Oh yeah the carpet in the room was gross. my wife took of her shoes and was attacked my flees or something.
