A Gem

Pros: A magical place. Hotel situated next to a flowing water where you can see all the vegetation down below it . You can sit and reflect whole day.. Very refreshing.

Great location. Walking distance from all the sightings.

Pros: Location was great. Restaurant was very nice. Had a lovely meal outside.

Cons: We had a non river facing room - room view was a dumpsite. So if you want to have a better view, maybe rather book a river facing room. No fridge in the room.

Magical Hotel Du Parc

Pros: The hotel setting on the river is magical with dining for breakfast inside and lunch and dinner outside. The Staff is very helpful and professional. The rooms are small but have a very good closet and nice bath. The weather was hot and the air-conditioning worked extremely well. The food in the restaurant is excellent and we would highly recommend eating there. The car park is big and secured with a coded gate and is free.

just get a better room

Pros: the location is great. Love the town. The whole complex is very nice. Parking is ok, but you come on a very narrow street, so sometimes you get stuck behind other cars.

Cons: the wifi was very very slow. the bathroom design was poor, because you spalsh the water everywhere and then you can slip easily once you get out and over the high tub.

Great location, alright stay

Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent, and the free parking is a really nice bonus, especially considering the fact that all other parking areas nearby are paid, unguarded and very busy if you visit during high season. The breakfast buffet is expensive, but so long as you're not a vegetarian, you definitely get what you pay for - it's probably the best breakfast buffet we've seen all summer. The restaurant serves great food and nice cocktails.

Cons: Our room was spacious, but quite Spartan. The bed was only 140 cm wide, which is too small for two adults to really sleep comfortably. Also, after we slept in one morning and asked housekeeping to come back 10 minutes later, to which they explicitly said it wouldn't be a problem, we returned to our room later on without the room being cleaned. Staff is generally very friendly and accommodating, but could be heard cursing a bit too often for it to still seem like professional behaviour

Pros: Location is great, the river running next to hotel is also gorgeous. We had a meal at the restaurant which was fantastic and the staff were amazing. We left our passports at a previous hotel and staff were so helpful in helping us get it posted to us. This is a hidden gem of a hotel

Not worth the money due to poor services or lack of it.

Pros: Restaurant and parking at the property was good.

Cons: We booked a standard room(130/night) and arrived at 5 PM to a room with no mini fridge(its 35 degrees in July, so if you want to keep a bottle of water to cool in the fridge, good luck!) Explanation was that standard room doesnt have a mini fridge. Interesting when we have to pay that amount of money to have no kettle or mini fridge in the room. Toilet was not cleaned after previous travellers had left. There were no towels in the washroom to shower. We called the reception to ask for it, no one answered. Clearly the place is running on low staff. We went downstairs and eventually had someone to talk too, who put fresh towels in the room and arranged to have the toilet cleaned. Shower room had a non-functional lamp. But with all this they would still charge you an unreasonable amount of money, because hey they are in Provence and someone famous once stayed there(as seen on their website). Plus there was an international music festival in the village and the concert went on till 3 AM right next to the hotel in the public square. So the night we stayed, we barely slept. Not the hotels fault, but we are tourists who didnt have a clue of what was going to happen in the place we stayed, it would have been good if the hotel could have warned us of this sort of event taking place right at its gate.

Pros: Good bike store and a secure carpark. The room was clean and lovely and cool. The staff were very helpful.

Cons: The breakfast was expensive and did not accommodate my dairy allergy in spite of advanced warning. There was dairy in the scrambled eggs, cheeses were kept by the meats and there was milk in the bread and cereal. Nothing was labelled and it was not safe for me to eat anything except a small vegan sweet roll and coffee. On the second day we did not have any breakfast because of this. I was not charged for either breakfast but it was disapointing and we went hungry until we found some where else to eat later. The shower bath was very slippery.
