    An interesting stay

    Pros: Room looked out on trees, quiet, friendly staff: we arrived very early and were given our room immediately - that made a big difference. The restaurant was good with very good service. Lovely walk along the river next to the hotel.
    Cons: A lift would have helped with bags. Is the hotel being refurbished? There were broken tiles on steps. Hot water took a very long time to reach our room, and we would have liked a mirror in the room not just in the bathroom. Overall a bit of a mixed experience.

    Poor en severly overpriced hotel, we had a noisy and unpleasant stay in a poorly maintained and serviced hotel.

    Pros: Friendly owner Close to A20
    Cons: - poorly maintained building - poorly isolated, lots of noise from other rooms and the busy road in front of building - multiple defects in the room - bed too short (feet outside only being 1.75 tall) - no airconditioning - musty smell in the hotel - no proper soap / shower gel / shampoo etc.

    Inadequate

    Pros: Friendly staff. Nicely cooked steak
    Cons: Poorly refurbished bathroom. Dirty radiator, old toilet paper beside the pipework at the back of the toilet. Brown mark on an off white towel. Corridors and staircase has chipped and missing tiles. Outdoor seating area in need of tidying up. Pizza advertised on a board outside the hotel, however told it was unavailable. Breakfast very overpriced. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others

    Pros: Convenient to Motorway
    Cons: Sandwiched between motorway and a busy road, it was very noisy especially since there is no air conditioning and we had to have the window open. The hotel is very run down and is seriously in need of a refurbishment. Avoid.

    An OK stay, but I won't stay again - if only becuase of the poor breakfast

    Pros: Friendly staff, large clean room
    Cons: Breakfast was very basic and certainly not worth the EUR10 per person. There, was only coffee, juice, bread, butter, jam and yoghurt - not even a croisant or an egg or cold meats or cheese. Also, they charged me twice (once when we checked-in and again using the card on Booking.com that I'd used to secure the booking). However, they did refund the money when I messaged them..... :-(

    OK, expected better for the price

    Pros: Riverside location lovely, good parking, nice dinner menu
    Cons: Room too small, furniture too big for room making chairs and table unusable, mini fridge poked under table on floor, difficult to access, no safe. Only a hanging rail for clothes, no drawers, needs total refit to make it useable, just a pile of odd furniture put in room. Staff attentive at first but tailed off.

    Ok for one night one the north-south-route.

    Pros: Everything was okay/more than okay, but I would not advise this hotel for more than one night on the north-south-route.
    Cons: The restaurant had quite some ruptures in the menu during our visit, e.g. 3 pasta types advertised, 1 available. Also (during the evening of our stay) no option to dine on the terrace (even following our request) for an unknown reason and with reasonable weather. Extra fee for our dog was 10 EUR, although I was e-mailed in advance the extra fee would be 5 EUR. In my opinion not enough value for money.

    Decent. Quite noisy though

    Pros: Clean, comfortable, reasonable. Evening meal was offered and eaten in room due to covid.
    Cons: Soundproofing in the hotel is not good. If you're a light sleeper you may struggle to sleep due to noise from other rooms / doors closing / road noise
