Pros: Good location for getting to the airport. Modern and spacious room. Pool and roof terrace looked nice though we didn't use them. Friendly and responsive staff.

Cons: I thought the room was quite clean but found the mattress cover full of tiny brown spots the next morning, indicating bed bugs whose blood hadn't washed out. At least I hope it was a clean sheet. No actual bugs to be spotted and no bites luckily. I had asked for a quiet room on the higher floors, they kindly gave us a room on the 4th floor, but not quiet, there were people shouting on the street all night and loud traffic. Even with closed windows and earplugs it was noisy. Overall not a very nice area of Bastia unfortunately. Very thick and hard pillows which were uncomfortable to sleep on. Ended up with a very sore neck the next morning. There should be softer alternatives on offer in the cupboard but they were exactly the same. Check-in didn't open until 4pm. Only 1 member of staff so quite a queue had formed around 4:30pm when we were going out later.

The perfect place to stay in Bastia if you come or leave by ferry

Pros: Big, tastefully furnished room, very clean, comfortable bed, great bathroom, ideally located if you have to get to the ferry terminal (5 min walking), at the same time Bastias sights are in walking distance, friendly and helpful staff at the reception

Cons: in the early morning there was quite some noise coming from the garbage collection or similar - despite closed windows (our room was on the 1st floor)

Pros: Super friendly & helpful staff (room cleaning, Service during breakfast as well as reception). Perfect location directly at the port and just a short walk from the center. Pretty nice view on the sea from the rooftop during breakfast. AC was super quiet.

Cons: Rooms towards the street/sea are a bit more noisy, so in case you are quite sensitive to noise you should ask for / book a different room. For me it was comfortable anyways.

Pros: Breakfast was ample with variety. Eggs were a bonus, and the fact that you could either inside or outside was ideal. Location was said to be 9 - 12 minute walk, but seemed much closer. Especially the train station was near to the hotel and is important if your taking the train or a shuttle to the airport, which is the roundabout area adjacent the station. From here the walk to the hotel is around 9 minute with no more than two streets to utilize to get there. So if you don't have to much luggage walk or take the shuttle that stops in front of the station with Toga. For virtually nothing (I mean it - two people is 3 euros), it drops you within 5 meters of the hotel, although its not directly to the hotel, for it makes a few stops in the opposite direction. Also the restaurant is probably the best in Bastia for the price, value and quality. Delicious with variety and a great price that doesn't scare you away. Bastia's restaurant's are expensive for the quality you're getting. And if you're not spending for quality, then you'll be disappointed or you're disappointed at how much the quality cost you!

Cons: The room view was disgusting, so much so that we sought an upgrade to the the sea side, but none were available. If it's a romantic visit, be sure to request the sea view balcony, and rid yourself of having to deal with an unpleasant sight and the thoughts that linger when you view it
