VILLA D'ESTE Group is a group of independent hotels operating with 4-star to 5-star standard. The Villa d’Este became a hotel in 1873 under intensive refurbishing and restoration. The largest stockholder of Villa d’Este, who have acquired the majority ownership in 2007, is the holding company of Finanziaria Lago.

In total, Villa d’Este group has four well known hotels. They have their flagship hotel the neoclassical Grand Hotel Villa. It has 152 exquisite rooms with 5-star graded standard. It is also a member of Leading Hotels of the World. A red and cream-colored hotel protruding in the vast acres of parkland.

Furthermore, there is the 37-rooms Villa La Massa in green painted outskirt of Florence. It is associated with Small Leading Hotels of the World with its high 5-star standards hospitality. They also have two 4-star hotels. Palace Hotel with 100 rooms, situated in the lakefront of Lake Como. It doubles as a conference center as well. Finally, the Barchetta Excelsior with stunning 84 rooms, which most of the rooms is facing the relaxing calm Lake.
