Pros: Amazing hotel. The facilities are great, clean, and well maintained. They have areas for adults and for families, which is great (we were traveling with 2 girls 1 and 3 years old). The animals that live within the premises of the hotel are also fantastic: you can spot sloths, monkeys, raccoons, hawks, and others just by walking and keeping your eyes peeled. I'd stay again here.

Cons: Nothing particular... maybe having a designated playground area for small kids with slides and swings, etc? Maybe there was and never saw it? The hotel is fantastic

Pros: This resort is superb. The staff is amazing, the facilities are maintained in perfect condition, the spa is fabulous and the location and view are stunning. It is possible to have a full vacation without ever leaving the site (but of course, you will because of the amazing attractions of the area). We enjoyed breakfast overlooking the Pacific coast, with monkeys and parrots playing in the trees. The pools are lovely and it's just delightful to sit on the porch and watch the sun set over the ocean. Truly a magical place. One lesson learned--driving and parking is very difficult outside the resort, so it's far easier (and less expensive) to have the Parador arrange an airport shuttle instead of renting a car.

Cons: There were plumbing issues in our room (water was tepid, not hot and the toilet handle needed shaking to flush properly) but the excellence in all other aspects (and the fact that cool showers were not a hardship in the high heat) made this a minor aspect.

Pros: It was a magical stay with monkeys playing outside our balcony. The pools and nature trail were magical and we spotted a sloth and monkeys on the onsite nature trail. The service, room, and food were excellent too.

Great value hotel with transport to the beach, lots of wildlife and excellent service

Pros: It had some lovely pools, a great restaurant for lunch, beautiful views, comfortable rooms, a nice gym and incredibly helpful staff. We saw lots of birds and animals there.

Cons: The main restaurant was a little hot - but it had fantastic views.

Pros: Everything was excellent -the hotel and its gardens are very beautiful, the room was very spacious and clean, with a fantastic ocean view, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, clean and beautiful swimming pools. You can see a lot of animals and birds around - monkeys, sloths, parrots, iguanas and many others. Very useful free return shuttle to Manuel Antonio Park.

Lovely seaside jungle resort near a fantastic wildlife preserve

Pros: Amazing setting in the jungle overlooking the ocean, wildlife viewing on the property including macaws, hawks, capuchin monkeys and iguanas. Peaceful place.

Best hotel in Manuel Antonio and one that we will continue visiting.

Pros: We love Parador and have stayed here four times now! Parador never ceases to exceed expectations and amaze us whether it's the friendly staff or the bottles of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries that have awaited us in our room after a day at the pool and beach. For families, Parador has something for everyone: family and adult pools, nature trails, spa/gym, mini-golf, a game room, and a kids room. Also, anything on the menu is delicious!

Cons: We have stayed in several hotels in Manuel Antonio over the last several years and by far Parador is a step above all.

Pros: The location was nice and all the animals you could see so close.

Cons: The breakfast was a big let down, for such a hotel I would have expected way more. This was our last stop in Costa Rica and without a doubt the worst breakfast offerings we have experienced during our trip. Extremely basic. We even went outside the hotel with a taxi two times during our stay to eat breakfast at a cafe even though the breakfast was included.
