Value for money. The price is extremely good. For budget travellers, this is your choice!

Pros: The hotel may be old, but it is impeccably clean. Situated in the heart of Montecatini, it offers easy access to the train station which is only 3 minutes away, making it convenient to visit places like Firenze or Lucca. The staff is genuine and always willing to lend a hand.

Cons: There is a short corridor leading to my bed in my room. However, I have noticed that the wifi connection is weak when I am in bed. I hope the hotel can improve this for future guests.

Pros: We loved this hotel! While the rooms looks classic ( with beautiful and good taste furniture/ curtains) the bathroom was modern renovated ( we loved the combination of the colors of the tiles) It was super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. THE BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING! ( delicious with a big variety of food). People who work there are absolutely lovely!

Great time in Montecatini using hotel as base to explore Tuscany.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location just 5 minute walk from Montecatini Centrale Station. Close to the main square and lots of restaurants. We liked exploring Tuscany by train using this hotel as a base since Montecatini is so central. The hotel was clean dispote other reviews saying different. Our room was made up daily with fresh towels when required and clean sheets. Breakfast was OK. Fruit, yogurt plus cakes and pastries. There was also ham cheese and boiled eggs. Coffe was nice plus you could order other coffees such as cappuccino but we just had Americano out of machine. Staff were friendly enough and all spoke good English. I would stay again if I was in Montecatini as the price for the hotel is good but I would only stay a couple of nights. Getting around by train is easy and most stations have baggage storage for 5 euro per case so I would stay in other areas not just Montecatini. Having said that this hotel is super good value and Montecatini is beautiful. I recommend the Funicular up to Montecatini Alto and a visit to Grotta Maona.

Cons: There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The pool is very small with very little room for the sunbeds. Pool was also very cold. Balcony very small and just looking onto other buildings but enough room for two chairs and small table so you can sit out on the balcony. Hotel seems popular with school groups. This was OK with us but may put some off. I booked a superior double room. I am not convinced that we were given a superior room but I did not complain as it was adequate for our needs.

Pros: The breakfast was very poor. It consisted mostly of sweets and cakes. No one informed us that we had to ask the waiter for the cheese and ham.

Cons: The hotel was full of junior football players, they were very noisy all night long. The rooms were bad conditions, the furnitures ols and very used.
