Great location, friendly staff. Basic, but clean and enjoyable stay!

Pros: Hotel Nizza is in an excellent location 2 blocks from Termini station and in an area with plenty of shops and good restaurants. The accomodation is basic, but it is cheap (for Rome), clean and everything works as expected. The breakfast was included and was good. Good selection of pastries. The staff were excellent and friendly, especially Kalid who felt like a friend by the end of my stay and went out of his way to help me with local questions, buying tickets, etc. The aircon, TV, water all worked fine while I was there. I was on the 3rd floor in the courtyard and my room was quiet.

Cons: The elevator seems to be permanently out of order so factor this in. The breakfast coffee machine wasnt the best. No safe in the rooms and limited storage space for clothing.

Cheap and adequate hotel - in line with the price tag

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. It's very cheap for Rome.

Cons: If you're looking at this property it's because you like the price tag! It's very cheap indeed. That comes with some inevitable and (in my opinion) understandable drawbacks. The elevator didn't work. The shower was a bit dodgy. The wallpaper had stains and the mattress wasn't very comfortable. BUT, this is for 100 a night in central Rome - what do you expect?!

Pros: Large and comfortable room and bathroom. Located close to the central train station and metro. Good breakfast.

Cons: Very old, need renewal. I forgot my apple airpods on the room, when i sent a message they said ( sorry we did not find it ) . Better to avoid this hotel .

Pros: The staff were lovely!! The room was much larger than other rooms at a similar price in rome. Walking distance to most attractions and close to metro and main station too. Loads of restaurants close by. Really loved it

Convenient location to train but will never stay again.

Pros: The staff was friendly and its a convenient location if you are wanted to stay close to the train station.

Cons: We stayed for 5 nights in the summer. The rooms are very small and have no air conditioner. We couldnt sleep with the window open to let the breeze in because its across from a bar that has the music super loud until very late at night. The ceiling in our bathroom would leak every time the people in the room above ours would shower. We notified the front desk that same night we arrived but didnt fix it until our last night there. We had to put the garbage can to catch the water but the floor was flooded every morning making it dangerous to walk on. We asked for a different room but they were completely booked. They didnt seam to have any urgency to fix it.

Pros: Fantastic location! All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. It could be quite noisy at night, but you're right in the centre of ROME! Surrounded by the hustle and bustle of an energetic city full of life! You've just got to throw yourself into the experience! The room and building were a little worn around the edges, but with plenty of character. I wasn't expecting a palace, and the price for the location was reasonable. It was clean! And housekeeping visited every day. No A.C. but I honestly didn't mind that, and they had provided a large fan (and a very handy fridge that kept my water cold). The room was spacious, with a high ceiling, and I enjoyed the "city view" of buildings and restaurants from the windows. Like I said, if you're not demanding a palace, and would just like somewhere clean and welcoming with a friendly atmosphere, and have so much culture, history, and art, ALL within walking distance - public transport is also on your doorstep btw should you prefer - I would recommend Hotel Nizza. In fact I would happily stay again. I had a wonderful time!

Really wonderful staff but facilities are a little dated.

Pros: The staff really were amazing and really friendly and very helpful

Cons: Lift no longer works but, as this is vital to me, staff immediately change my room to the ground floor. No air con, reliant on plastic fans in the room. Bathrooms definitely need upgrading. Breakfast was a disappointment.

Cons: Bath room system water drain pipe e.g bathtub, sink very slow drainage and water shower leaking on the floor each time I had shower or bathtub .it seem to be bock system from drainage pipe system.

It made our trip to Rome unpleasant

Pros: The breakfast was 3 types of sweet croissants, milk with cornflakes and coffe. Better not to have it.

Cons: The hotel is terrible. The worst I have ever been. There are no airconditioners but we received a fan during the stay. We couldnt use the shower as there was a problem. The sing was clogged and etc. luckily we didnt spend much time in there.

Pros: Convenient location, friendly staff, stored my bags for the day after checkout, lovely common lounge area with beautiful old leather chairs.

Cons: Room was a bit hot but a fan were provided. I didn't seem to be able to get the aircon going. Bathroom was functional, but corner shower door opening was really tight.
