A night in Ulm

Pros: The hotel is in a great location in the city center, next to a private underground parking. The room was very big, with big bathroom and big terrace.

Cons: The check-in and check-out experience was quite slow, despite not having a queue. The city was quite boring and all shops and most restaurants closed at 18:00 in the middle of the summer, so there was nothing to do around. It is not the hotel I would not recommend, but the city as a layover stop.

Pros: The hotel was quiet and the staff were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The room was quiet and accessible. Breakfast was awesome!

Cons: The downside was the lighting in the bathroom, which was almost unacceptable. In addition, the shag carpet smelled like wet dog fur; it was pretty bad. I would stay again, IF I was in a room with no carpet.

Quaint stay in Ulm

Pros: The hotel was away from the Main Street in the quaint old part of town. It was walking distance to restaurants and shops. The host was very polite.

Cons: You do have to pay for parking which we knew about. Breakfast is also extra which is not uncommon.

Ulm is a beautiful city and well worth a visit. Additionaly, the train station is close by.

Pros: Very friendly, and helpful staff. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and provided a good start to the day.

Cons: Attic bedroom sloping ceiling made for hunched up manoeuvring but did afford great views of the Munster.
