Pros: excellent location: only a ca. 3 minutes walk from the train station, staff was helpful & gave good tips for participating in a day trip to Borobudur and Prambanan, the pool is decent as well as the breakfast, the WIFI worked reasonably fast and was also more or less stable

Cons: this hotel is overpriced: I stayed directly before the same amount of days in downtown Jakarta and paid only 2/3 of the price I paid in this hotel although the Jakarta hotel room was much better than the poor quality they offer in this place. Quality of the room was far below expectations. The biggest problems are that door & window are not at all sound-proof (so you hear EVERY word which is spoken in the hallway somewhat close to your room and you also hear clearly all prayer calls outside). Because the window in my room was also not proof in any other way (it did not even properly close), warm air continued to come in and although the AC panel showed 18 degrees Celsius, it never got really cooled down to below 25 degrees, I think. So the AC which is advertised in this profile does - in combination with the extremely poor window condition - not at all work properly. Was all the time too warm which is very annoying for the hotel with such a room price. And there was a major misconstruction in the bathroom: the tap so placed next to the sink that is was not possible to wash the hand without spilling substantial amounts of water on the table in which the the sink was placed. And in the shower some fairly weird construction too.. (see photos). The desk in the room was fairly shaky and creaked. The fridge didn't work. Cleanliness was an issue. One can certainly stay in that hotel (mainly due to the proximity to the train station) but that should for sure not cost more than 50 Euros a night.

Pros: The location of the hotel is near to shopping areas. Breakfast was amazing and lots of variations. The room was comfy and complete with all the amenities. It was an enjoyable stay. Will definitely come again.

Pros: we like Neo alot ! we have stayed twice, the kids love the pool and the food, win, win! close to the action of Malioboro street, no taxi needed the staff are young and happy to help for anything. We wiil be back. makasih banyak Neo !!

Cons: the location is very close to Yogya main station and Malioboro. it brings the downside that the loud noise from station's public announcement and the train sounds very much heard from the room, practically 24 hours. it's not comfortable to hear a constant loud noise while you're trying to rest. the AC and refrigerator was also not cold enough. it's quite humid in the room. during my stay, there was a tractor for a street work in front of the hotel. so messy.
